Chuba is a big playmaker and needs to be given a starting opportunity. If he does bad next season we always have blackshear who has also been explosive with the ball in his hands
Chuba wil tell you himself that he’s a secondary back.

I’m a Buccaneer fan and I loved the game. Panthers looked like they were going to steamroll the Buccaneers in that first quarter.
We tried. Yall had the better luck today for sure.

Bring everyone back and run this roster/staff back one more time; Sam, Coach, etc all gave heartfelt effort to close this out. Stability with this roster matters.

@David R To be honest if you were to smash those 2 players into 1 he would be a Lockdown corner. Because Henderson has the talent but lacks the passion and effort. Taylor has the passion and effort but somewhat lacks the talent. If Henderson actually played like he gave a damn he could easily take Jackson’s starting job. He has all the talent but lacks effort.
Panthers fan no matter what. This team has completely turned around since we were 1-5. Proud fan here. Now give Wilks the job and let’s Keep Pounding. Focus on the Saints next week and then prepare for next season. We gonna get a ring one year. And this group of talent is the strongest it’s been in a long time. I really hope some of the players read the good comments for support. We came from a horrible 31 ranking to 19 and that’s powerful. Just shows the determination we have. Best of luck guys.
Is Steve Wilks better than Matt Rhule ? Yes he is for sure but wilks still aint it. Hes a super bowl DB coach and just allowed his secondary to get beat by the same exact same thing 3 times, he knew Henderson and Taylor couldnt cover mike evans but made zero adjustments and gave them zero safety help. He also abandoned the run game, never really gave it a chance and tried getting into a passin shootout with Tom Brady. You gotta be real stupid to think Sam Darnold is gonna beat Tom Brady in a shootout. These are just dumb decisions that verteran coaches cannot make.
Todays game kind of proved why he shouldn’t have the job. If we hire him we’ll be decent at best and make the playoffs every 2-3 years. Let’s hire an offensive guru and get this team competing with the other big teams. Wilks would be a great DC, which is an improvement from assistant coach. Plus we need to draft a young QB, because Darnold can’t be the future of the franchise

What really got us? It wasn’t Horn alone. It was Dante Jackson also being out. If we had either, that’s a W. Did I agree with the coaching? No. I felt with the way Brady was playing, we should have made it priority one to slow the game down, keep the ball out of his hands, and we should have known to not get into a shootout with the GOAT. It cost us turnovers, the long passes kept their defense fresh, instead of sticking with the run game and being patient, we let them take us out of our gameplan. I thought the first half was called well. Not the second half. In the second half we should have run the ball, even with them stacking the box, , and given it to Chuba more. I knew we might be in trouble when the game was 14-13 or whatever with only a half left. I honestly feel like the defense was irrelevant, that we could have won this game by simply not giving up on the run. The line played uninspired, Foreman ran uninspired, and I just wonder where was the explosiveness we saw against the Lions, and the creative run scheming was absent like it was in Pittsburgh. When they stack the box like that, you put in extra blockers and bring in Cade Mays at fullback. Did we expect to get 8-15 yards every run? What’s wrong with 4 here, pass, three there? OC was impatient as hell with the run, and if Foreman had trouble finding holes, which he did, Chuba should have been put in early. We didn’t set the tone. I do think it was a good idea to pass more, but not THAT much. And i felt it was pretty much common sense. Coach says he slid safety help over the top, but safety “Wasn’t there”? What do you mean? How do you bust coverage three times? Against a guy who Tampa Bay, on their TWITTER even the day before they game, they called us out, with that riddle they posted, saying Brady was gonna hit Evans and win the game for them. That’s exactly what they did. Was anyone paying attention to their social media at all? They gave us their game plan. Literally. On freaking Twitter, for god sake.
Give you guys so much respect!!!!!!!! Very talented team and game could have went either way. See you guys next year go Bucs !
It was a tough game but the reason we lost is because we had no Donte and Jaycee and the buccaneers had a game plan to beat us ,
Besides that let’s hope everyone gets healthy and we will pound harder next year to win the NFC South

We’ll be back next season, Rhule buried us these past two seasons not addressing the offense. While the defense is at least two or three players away, we need a true QB before we get to where we need.

I’m impressed with how much they changed throughout the season. Completely different team than what we had on Week 1. Completely hopeless at the start of the season. Full of hope to just about the end. They’ve definitely grown as a team without Rhule, Anderson, and most of all, McCaffrey. Wilks has my approval as a coach. Let’s hope he’s chosen. Would love to see a full season under him. But I think that I’ll probably have grandkids by the time they’re Super Bowl Champs for the first time. And I’m 29.

I think the team fought hard until the 4th quarter. They just weren’t up to their potential in the end bc they need substitutions on both front lines to keep the guys fresh.
But this game showed the O-line needs to be built up with at least two more young guys who can bench-press 100-200 pounds who won’t get pushed around. The defense needs the same thing with the same stipulations. Of course, we need another experienced Corner to help Horn out which was really our undoing of this game.
Wilks should have gone for it on that 4th and 1 bc of the nature of the game. I just don’t know if he will get the HC job bc of this game. The guys on the team should have been cognizant of this if they wanted him as the coach.
I don’t know if holding wasn’t called on a couple of those passes to Evans but it seemed like they held our defense in tact. But once again, they need substitutions to keep them fresh. This loss will take away the respect they were finally getting bc people are fickle. But the only way of getting respect back is for them to come back strong to beat the Saints next week which won’t matter but come back strong next season by recruiting correct.
Love my team no matter what just would’ve been sweet to sweep Brady and the Bucs but instead get eliminated by them 😭
