Didn’t believe in sam but this wasn’t his fault at all. Had an amazing 5 game stretch I blame this on coaching and dbs. Hopefully next year

You played good Sam and should be our starter moving forward this game was about not having our DBs and bring in Norman and not playing him more

Not going to lie, these last five games, Bearded Sam has been above average, if not outright good. If Corral comes back and is better, we’re good. If not, then at least we know it’ll take a 500 yard game from Tom Brady to beat us by 6.

Give him and wilks a full season!

Give Sam the job and give Wilks the job. The comfort level is way higher than it was earlier in the season and we need stability. Give the boys their flowers; they closed this season out with heart.

Since Wilks has taken over Darnold you have impressed me and before you didn’t. I hope the Panthers keeps you on as starter and gives you more time to season as a better QB because you have definitely shown huge improvements. Best of luck.

What really got us? It wasn’t Horn alone. It was Dante Jackson also being out. If we had either, that’s a W. Did I agree with the coaching? No. I felt with the way Brady was playing, we should have made it priority one to slow the game down, keep the ball out of his hands, and we should have known to not get into a shootout with the GOAT. It cost us turnovers, the long passes kept their defense fresh, instead of sticking with the run game and being patient, we let them take us out of our gameplan. I thought the first half was called well. Not the second half. In the second half we should have run the ball, even with them stacking the box, , and given it to Chuba more. I knew we might be in trouble when the game was 14-13 or whatever with only a half left. I honestly feel like the defense was irrelevant, that we could have won this game by simply not giving up on the run. The line played uninspired, Foreman ran uninspired, and I just wonder where was the explosiveness we saw against the Lions, and the creative run scheming was absent like it was in Pittsburgh. When they stack the box like that, you put in extra blockers and bring in Cade Mays at fullback. Did we expect to get 8-15 yards every run? What’s wrong with 4 here, pass, three there? OC was impatient as hell with the run, and if Foreman had trouble finding holes, which he did, Chuba should have been put in early. We didn’t set the tone. I do think it was a good idea to pass more, but not THAT much. And i felt it was pretty much common sense. Coach says he slid safety help over the top, but safety “Wasn’t there”? What do you mean? How do you bust coverage three times? Against a guy who Tampa Bay, on their TWITTER even the day before they game, they called us out, with that riddle they posted, saying Brady was gonna hit Evans and win the game for them. That’s exactly what they did. Was anyone paying attention to their social media at all? They gave us their game plan. Literally. On freaking Twitter, for god sake.

Even with sams turnovers, he balled out from start to finish imo. This one is on whoever decided that Taylor and Henderson didn’t need deep safety help.

We should keep Norman, Darnold we should keep, Steve we absolutely need, I think we have a good chance next year for a playoff birth

Sam just needed an offensive line that could protect him. Who knew? He’s going to get better and better. I hope he stays.

Please please please panthers keep Sam around. Ever since he came back from injury we have seen consistency which we haven’t seen from a Qb on this team in a very very long time. I really think he’s our guy and can give us our best chance next season

Funny, I actually think if Sam was the QB for the Jets this season they’d be in the playoffs. He’s shown he can play good football with actual stability and some talent around him. If I’m in the Panthers I bring him back. They could be a solid team if they have a strong offseason and stick with this guy.
