We had a chance to tie the Eagles who I hate just as much as the Packers. But after the Eagles lost today I had a feeling we would lose too.

    Frode Brynjar

@Randy Olson who’s j? Cuz Ed is still garbage and the defense didn’t do enough… but also the offense didn’t do much at all with our starters. The coaches and players didn’t seem like they wanted to win or even prepared for this game.

    MassivMan

@Frode BrynjarI honestly think we rest our starters next week and prepare to face the giants in the playoffs since that’s our most likely opponent

    AtheismRules ☠️

I’m glad the eagles lost to so they feel our pain

    Alicia ッシCodm亗

@AtheismRules ☠️ yeah same im pissed off

    danny yang

@Alicia ッシCodm亗 yup u got that right

CraFTed

This loss hurt worse than usual. I pray for a bounce back. Skol vikes 💜🔥

    R PM Z11

Like a 60-year bounce back?….. This is the same old boat that fired Tomlin, Billick and Dungy…in three years?
Get used to it…They were played like rats last night.

    Caleb Kelley

    So true so true

Michael Burfield

We need to get a running game going and everything else takes place receivers get open and defense gets more rest. No turnovers in the playoffs are a big key for the Vikings.

    Camarokidd2022

@N Ø A H true and they rarely run Cook to the outside. Donashell needs to be fired to.

    Briana W

@Camarokidd2022 you’re a Kirk Cousins ball washer aren’t you? You don’t even acknowledge his 4 turnovers!

    Matt Danielson

    Great take

    Hugh M

Rogers was actually smiling after the game

    Michael Burfield

@Hugh M who cares? He won’t be smiling when they lose next week

Matt Wirtz

Small things but that third string center killed us on penalties and blocking. Stay healthy and have Bradbury back in postseason

    DrecalGod

@Hue Yang  um it’s been working why fix what is working? They were 12 and 3. Everyone’s acting like we didn’t battle a healthy bills team and won like come on. Where’s the credit… this game costed us a lot . These injuries are critical and I believe packers intentionally played dirty. Cause they’re salty .

    phreakerby thespeaker

@DrecalGod Getting blown out in losses and barely win when you do is not sustainable success

    Jerzflow

    He was baddd

I’ve been watching the Vikings since the 1960’s. Many other rivalries like Dallas & most teams, Giants Eagles theirs so many.
When the refs are biased and when the players know it, it just depletes a team. What can ya do? Generally lose.
With todays technology so that all can see what actually happened and its not reversed or not called by the refs. The in-bounds, out of bounds long pass catches are a clue. When the quartback is clearly gonna “launch a bomb” and the yellow flag comes out for holding at that very moment or depending on reception, interception or a drop. 2 of them called on one team and not called on the other team when its blatant.
Its just time to think about yourself and see if you can get some yards, block someone, get a sack. This destroys a team. They keep to themselves, no more “team effort”.
Once in a while you can beat the refs but its darn difficult.
In the old days… it was hideous. Back when a SuperBowl win payday could be 2-3 times the salary of a rookie.

    harleybowie

@DrecalGod the last Detroit game was hideosly reffed but this game was “off” from the get go with play calling. 2-3 runs with rookiee linemen? Whos the genious who caalled that. Oh yeah sorry about spelling and stuff i got ADHD + 8I SHAKE.
Anyway…… unbiased reffing would be cool. I caall em how i see them the vikkings get a stray call that is blatanyly bugus …once in awhile.
Is Howard Cosell still alive? Or is his ghost getting into refs heads? Just saying, no big deal but the vikes are looking pretty good.

Ryan Schmoll

You can see it in KOC’s face: he’s starting to fully understand that he coaches the Minnesota Vikings for a living.

    Jesse Pope

    It ages a man

    Jimmy

Yeah.. a 12-4 team that has won the division in his first season.. and is one of the youngest rosters in the league,, foh… This is called a base for a new start,, they have to build moving frwd,, he’s just getting started

    Dpeezy

@Brandon Wejkszner BIG FACTS..i knew this was finna come…thats why i said earlier im the season…STAY on the other side of the fence…this is the NFL you get BETTER from losses and to think when you have one like this the media/fan turn on you quick , fast and in a hurry is sad SMFH

    donborvio

Even if they are “one and done” this season has exceeded my expectations from before the season started. Play calling is a work in progress, but everyone is learning. The defense needs some new blood though to really be competitive in the top tier.

    Sammy Sarzoza

Rigged NFL is never gonna let the Vikings go the Super Bowl.

wwanty

Loss is on KOC as much as it is on anyone else. Gets outcoached in losses. Players go to sleep. Donatell is terrible but KOC deserves as much blame in these losses

Gone fishing

Do something about the defense. Fire donatell!

Marvin_Studios

Embarrassing loss, definitely the worst game for the vikings this year surpassing the cowboys game against division rival. Playing like this is not good in the playoffs.

M H

I like KOC but after 14 games, you think he can come up with a better game plan or mix it up a bit to account for the fact you were down 2 OLs (he was creative in game 1 and since then, his play calling has been predicable). Not saying we would have won but it wouldn’t have been so lopsided.

    MassivMan

I completely agree with this but it’s also important to consider that this is KOC’s first year as a head coach and it might be another 1 maybe even 2 seasons before he gets settled into the job

    The Superior Affection

    16 games.

Matt Olson

I figured we would lose but not like this. Seriously, why do we just completely fall apart in certain games? It’s all self inflicted mistakes

Reid Larson

He has to figure out how to consistently get this team ready for game day. This is four weeks now where we’ve allowed ourselves to go down by multiple scores and get embarrassed

    Adam

All against nfc contenders. Not a good look.

    Clarence Eugene

The lack of adjustments at half time is infuriating. Should have been rolling Cousins out of the pocket, and should have benched Cook. Backup receivers should have been brought in earlier, not just in garbage time.

RowdyBacon

Looks like KOC is finally getting angry and showing that fire that this team needs. Hopefully this can help going forward.

    Daniel Lewis

    He’s a bum like Zimmer was 😂

    James T

    Where was his anger?

    MassivMan

@James Tsame place our offense was

    Not Surge

@James T fr this man was smiling. He HASNT shown anger yet all szn

DLindstrom🐺

First time all year I was uninspired by his press conference. I didn’t see any accountability for 10 men and 13 men on the field. It was very clear Reed was not prepared to come in and snap the ball. Bradbury’s been out for weeks that was terrible. They were not wearing the right equipment. Hopefully, Jefferson won’t get suspended for hitting a ref with his helmet. We have no sense of urgency. Thielen can’t get separation, and they still don’t use Mattison at the goal line. They will blame the defense all week and the Bears will probably be favored. He looked like a rookie coach. We deserve everything they’re going to get criticized for this week. The silver lining is many expected us to be 500 or a wild card team. We really needed that 2nd seed for any chance if that’s how we are going to play outside in January.

GolfJulietBravo

There’s something about the core group of this team that somehow when games start to get out of hand they just start chasing their tails and they end up getting destroyed. Every time we’re blown out like this you can visibly see players like Kendricks and H.Smith not putting forth good effort, visibly frustrated, and making dumb mistakes. It’s frustrating.

Larry V.

All 4 losses this season have this in common: physical teams that can man handle us on both sides of the ball seem to be able to create big explosive plays at will and all of a sudden they knock us out like a boxer and the Vikings go into a funk and they cant get out of it. Look at the Colts game, even though they came back and won, getting down 33-0 at half is unexcuseable, especially at home. They need to toughen up mentally and physically or it will be one and done in the playoffs.

Douglas Weeber

Koc is a great coach, I’m happy to have him here. We’ll get it together! Don’t be negative people, we’ll be ok

    General Kenobi

Exactly! It’s really sad to see all these people giving up on us. Sure we got blown out a few times but overall this season has been a success. Koc is leading this team in the right direction, can’t wait to see what he does in years to come!

Hardick McFondle

The vikes just pulled what the bears did back in 2010.. had a chance to keep the packers out of the playoffs and crapped the bed.. I swear, if the packers sneak in and go on a run again and win the superbowl like they did in 2010, I will officially be done as a Viking fan. I can put up with almost anything as a Viking fan, but that happens.. nope.

M H

Why didn’t they ask about the 10 men on the field on defense and a few plays later, they had 12 men on the field. Is that on KOC, Ed or the defensive captains? It happened during a 3rd and long.

WeDontHaveToBreed88

Hard loss. Looked like a Zimmer offense this time, power runs up the middle with cook who isnt a power back and forced throws to the TE. Hock is good but he’s not Kittle or Kelce, give JJ the contested throws. Need to move JJ around more if he’s being pressed and doubled, jet sweep or bunching him up next to another receiver, or something. Let’s get some good plays ready for the playoffs and tell this defense to attack the qb or the ball with everything they got

Freakin' Payne

A very promising start for KOC for leading this mediocre team to 12Ws. Next year is when we’ll truly see if this regime is legit or not when they let all the zimmer guys go, and plug in new and fresh guys who are hungry, and aren’t old
