it was a division rivalry, division matchups are always close and difficult game
Divisional games are always tough. Don’t forget Dever defense is top 3.. if anything out defense could have done a little better

Not only that. Denver hasn’t beat KC in 14 games before today. They were more than motivated. Just like last time we played them. I was hoping with being at home we’d blow them out but like I said the Broncos were super motivated and after being embarrassed last week. Even more so. Denver Defense is very good and Russell Wilson was actually balling today. This Raiders game is going to probably be the same thing but hopefully not. lol.
Wasn’t as close as it should have been and honestly not as close as the score indicates.
Denver had to convert some 3-long and 4ths just to even be in there, plus the kicking left 4 points out there plus ran the clock out just outside the red zone to end the game.

3:53 the play EB called. Looks like Andy doesn’t call all the plays after all. 🤷♂️ Again, don’t care who’s calling it, but can we establish a run game at any point? It would make PM15’s life a lot easier.
That’s what I’m saying. It’s EB calling most of the plays. Andy usually does it in the playoffs that’s why you can see the difference. But yes please run the ball 🏈 more
@Champagne Lanier most KC fans know Andy will give play calling to his OC so he can get a HC job. He’s done this several times, but hopefully he takes over for the playoffs. Gotta run more.

Humility and greatness. Class act.
Some very telling words are when Patrick self corrects at 0:53 from “we” to “I.” That, fans, is the definition of ownership, humility and maturity. The Chiefs Kingdom is so very fortunate to have this young man in the breech, firing away. We may be even luckier still to have Andy Reid at the helm, not to mention our entire cadre of extremely talented, motivated and skilled athletes on the team. I’d be lying if I said watching a game real time doesn’t increase my anxiety exponentially – it sure does. It appears to this fan that in recent games we are almost playing down to the level of our opponents on any given Sunday. I do not have the sense that everything is running like a well-oiled machine, which, in turn, is maddening since we have so much amazing talent on both sides of the ball. Still, I’ll take it and there is no other club I’d rather root for at this time, but the Chiefs have to “do the tighten up!” Some of the top Kryptonite teams looming on the horizon are Buffalo, Cincinnati, Baltimore and Chargers, just to name a few. Mobile, scrambling athletic quarterbacks seem to always give us fits and all those teams have one. Regardless, “I’ll dance with the one that brung me!” Go Chiefs!

We can’t take this team for granted, we had a lot of disappointing years I’ve been a fan since 93… even if we don’t seal the deal this year I’m thankful for what the Reid/Mahomes era has brought us! And that’s the expectation to win every time….
For me one thing is clear. With his skills and abilities he owns all pre conditions to become a real legend.

It seems like Colin Cowherd has been right about some moments during the season where it looks like he loses his mechanics a little bit. Mahomes admits it happened today in this video. But I still think Patrick is the best QB in the game, and what he has done this year, with how much the defense and especial teams have struggled, with the lack of a number one wide out, with some of the receivers he does have missing games, with how much the tackles have struggled, with how young this team is overall, I would be surprised if the Chiefs don’t have 5 more Super Bowl appearances and about 3 more victories, considering they have 12 picks for next year and that the player they drafted this year are looking good. It will be tough, because there so many great QBs in the AFC, and this year, I don’t like the Chiefs chances like the previous years, but I believe what I said they would accomplish will be accomplished.
I like how he is only critical of himself.
We had to give Denver some hope for ticket sales for next year. NFL is a loving family that we take care of our teams
