Hey charger fans, I hate to rain on your parade! Justin Herbert is a Super Bowl talent! But he’ll never get there with Brandon Staley! charger organization with inordinate amount of injuries that goes beyond bad luck(NFL today) appreciate him and would love to see him have an incredible career! Would love to see him have a Sean Payton as a coach! since they did Make the playoffs unfortunately a coaching change that would be great for him probably won’t happen!
Trust me, coming from a chargers fan, we’ve also been decently doubtful about some of the decisions staleys made in some games, but with the playoff appearance this year I do feel like he could be our coach for the future. I think the major change that needs to be made is at the OC position with Joe Lombardi, who’s been horrible this year. If you have a chance, search up on yt “pro football focus chargers offense”. It’s these two guys analyzing just how simple and easy lombardi’s plays are to pick apart.
@Arktic Unfortunately I think staley maybe your coach of the future. I just think it’s unfortunate for Justin Herbert do you have to wait to see if Staley might mature into a decent head coach! meanwhile suffering injury and failed Super Bowl appearances! I think he deserves more! imagine him with an Andy Reid, Sean Payton, Doug Peterson, etc. I just don’t believe Staley will ever be of that caliber! I agree with you hundredpercent on the offensive coordinator!
