    @Gwogle that’s fine. Still not correct. Throw out the salaries and pull every GM in the league and there’s not one that would take Brett over russ. I get it we’re all really frustrated about how this year went but these takes are just crazy. Brett doesn’t start on one NFL team in the league. And I guarantee you there are still coaches that saw all the disarray saw all the problems with the way we ran this offense this year that still believe that they can get russ back to form.

    @Joel Stevens i agree that Russ can perform better and I think he will. I’m just thinking if we had Rypien in things would have been different and we could have had a couple more wins. Not saying one is better then the other.

    @John-Paul C Silly Money on what things? a HC ? and whose to say we are going for Peyton we might get somebody completely different, sure it is rumored we’re making a run for him but we have options its not who we can get its who’s going to fit best with the right mind i think that’s where you’re lost

    @DTheGoat🐐 My original comment is only about Payton – and you commented on that. I’m not saying Denver won’t get a solid coach….just saying its not going to be Payton unless Saints feel very generous (which means he’s not coming to Denver).

    @John-Paul C and whose to say we cant get Sean anyways? we have money and draft capital and im sure they aren’t going ti ask for and high round picks( round 3 and higher) and paying for a HC isnt really a problem considering we can put money into the trade in exchange for Peyton if we really were to go for him i do believe he is a candidate though

    @TooLate No, but you can’t really throw silly amounts of money at him. That is unrealistic and fans who imagine there is an open checkbook of wild proportions will be met with a very different reality.

The bottom line is that the Broncos need to get it right this time when they hire a head coach. Way too many swings and misses since 2016! They are losing the confidence and enthusiasm of their fan base including me! Great show Phil and Aric! 🏈⭐️🐴

3 months ago Broncos Country was a QB away from Super Bowl contender. Only take 15 games for Russel Wilson to prove everyone wrong. He should deserve all the Credits, because Broncos Country now know exactly what they are missing.

I seriously hope the new ownership will not settle for anything less than an experienced HC. The Broncos do not need another coordinator that has never head coached before. That is the definition of insanity. I would bang my head against a wall if that happens again. The Broncos need an experienced HC. Point blank! Additionally, I would not even bother with previous Broncos personnel for advice (i.e. Shanahan, Elway, et cetera). They have their own coaching trees and if any of the candidates are not part of their “trees”, then of course their opinions would be no. This is new ownership, a new team, they need an experienced HC with no bias for or against former Broncos personnel. Period.
