How about playing the same offense as in Seattle for starts! Someone who has worked with a run and gun QB before! If we had Tom Brady as QB and tried playing him in a Lamar jackson Offense we would have ended up in same situation!
Everyone forgets the primadonna aspect of Russ pushing to leave Seattle for playing the way Seattle’s offense was for Russ to work. Going back to that will lead to Wilson throwing more fits. He didn’t come to Denver just to do the same thing he was doing in Seattle….you’re in a catch 22
@John-Paul C Yup, RW wants to prove he is a pocket QB because he doesn’t want to roll out anymore but the problem is he is slow in his progressions and can’t see the entire field. He also looked a little bit out of shape and he didn’t play a single down in the preseason. He loves throwing the ball deep downfield and forgets you need to do the basic stuff first. He also rubbed his teammates the wrong way and the FO enabled him by letting him have an office, a personal staff and 15 parking spots. Once he signed that big extension, the expectation level shot up.
@John-Paul C 5 years Russ was at Seattle, there was no Legion of Boom, there was no Marshawn Lynch, there was just Russ. Pete Caroll made a game plan that got a lot of wins, but required Russ to constantly sacrifice his body. And Russ didn’t have the supporting cast that he did before. Plus it was pretty clear that Pete was going to move off of him. So do you blame Russ for wanting to be traded to a team that wanted him and was willing to give him the tools to succeed without having to do it all himself? And I’m not saying that Russ was right, but does he really deserve to be called a prima Donna? Over Aaron Rodgers?
And honestly, after watching Russ sacrifice his body for extra yards against the chiefs, down 14 points in a game that means nothing in a list season for a fan base that basically hates him, I don’t want to hear him called a diva. Cringy, overly positive, lacking self awareness, absolutely. But he absolutely wants to succeed here

Hackett is a great person but in my opinion he doesn’t have the characteristics of a head coach.
Perhaps – but your QB shouldn’t be starting anywhere in the NFL. Admit both those things and i’ll respect your comment.

Not sticking with the outside zone scheme, is what buried the Broncos offense.
Saddest thing about the Broncos now is lm stuck trying to enjoy comments almost as lame as the team…
Rypien seems like a smart guy. I hope he goes into coaching (for the Broncos) after his career is over.
I think Russell bit off more than he could chew he kept hyping everything up in the beginning with “Broncos country let’s ride” and everybody got excited thinking we were playoff bound. That’s a lot to ask for when you’re on a brand new team with young wide receivers in a new offense with a below average offensive line not to mention a first year inexperience head coach who was not a great play caller nor a great game manager
It doesn’t help that not a single offensive starter played during the preseason. RW forgot that before you talk the talk, you gotta walk the walk,

Hackett always felt like a step dad trying too hard
If your process is right, then you won’t get the wrong result. Unfortunately, the process involved with hiring an NFL coach isn’t something easy to pin down. But nevertheless, the process isn’t right if you end up with the blatantly wrong result.
Nothing, not until Paton is fired for orchestrating this disaster.

I don’t think the team gave up on Hackett, they gave up on Wilson.
The Bronco’s senior staff above Hacket should be let go or placed in positions where they have NO influence on the team.
only thing that’s going to save the Broncos right now if Russell Wilson retires.
Eventually that will be the best solution for the team. Russell could suddenly become very patriotic and volunteer to fight in Ukraine.

We all need to face reality. RW is really a bridge QB. Admittedly a very expensive bridge QB, but a bridge to the future QB nonetheless.

People keep saying that big Raiders’ loss was to JaMarcus Russell. I remember it being Jason Campbell.
It would have been interesting to see how the Nathaniel Hackett hire would have played out if George Paton had brought in a QB that could run Hackett’s system.
