It’s not about running he said himself he is focused on becoming a fundamentally better pocket passer. That hurts a defense more than runs. Don’t get me wrong his scrambling breaks a defense though for sure. But any reps are nice to have from a learning aspect

And he’s only going to get better, everyone is always quick to give up on young players. I grew up watching Rex Grossman and Jay Cutler, this will be the best QB in Bears history!!
Agree, we live in a time of instant success or bust. Just doesn’t always work that way. Fields makes me the most excited and has the most realistic promise since the time I began watching in the 80’s.

as long as Ryan Poles drafts well and pays for talent, this team should get back to playoff contention. give some credit to Pace and Nagy as well for nailing the Justin Fields pick
