Carr is hard to figure out. After last season he looked ready to take the next step. This year he regressed. The question is why? But, if he’s not comfortable in McDaniels offense after 15 games he’ll never be.
This is his ninth year. He doesn’t have a “next step.” He’s as good as he’s ever going to be, and it’s not good enough.
He’s looked mediocre for years now I don’t know what the hell some of you are looking at.
Carr’s great to watch if your my Chargers, Chiefs and the Broncos. And at least you guys aren’t as bad as the Broncos so it’s not completely lost. But, it might be time to draft a QB this offseason. Carr hit his ceiling years ago.
Funny how he’s “as good as he’ll ever be” yet Gannon was in the league 11 years before he was plugged into a team with a killer offensive line, hall of fame receivers, and a great defense.
The answer is pretty easy. He’s in yet another new system.
How many double digit leads is McDaniels & Pat Graham gonna blow this season???? Out coached almost every week this season!!!!

@ColonelCarnage cap Raiders were up by double digits 4 times this season and lost those games.
Could have been 5 if the Raiders lost to the Patriots this past Sunday
@ColonelCarnage no, not this game but the defense did allow a double digit comeback in the 4th quarter. Graham’s defense is most definitely a big issue.
@DL – Sadly, a majority of these Raiders will not be with the team next year….but, the inept coaching staff will. Patrick Graham needs to be fired! Bring in Vic Fangio or another legit Def Cord

@Luke Parodi I can’t tell for certain but given that he’s made that throw accurately multiple times throughout his career, I was giving him the benefit of the doubt.
@Luke Parodi he was supposed to throw it along the right hash mark…the wind moved the ball slightly..
I believe Carr was trying to adjust accordingly all game just couldn’t find a groove. The weather played a huge factor.

Go in your back yard on a windy day run backwards then run up with a Pittsburg rush on your back throw the ball 50 yards with Pitts defenders swarming around on the most important throw of the game. Chances on any NFL QB making that throw maybe Ken the Snake Stabler would have a 50% chance making that throw
Been a Carr stan forever…but This one was too disappointing to support anymore
Jacobs was just named co-Captain and he made the ProBowl, and he’s not contractually bound to the Raiders after this season. He’s speaking his mind with Zero f***s given.

The writing was on the wall nation McDaniels while he was with denver lost 8 straight games in the second half of the season he is not the answer. I have been a carr supporter since he came to the league in 2014 he’s a great guy a beautiful human being but it’s time move on and that really hurt me to say that. He eat,sleeps and thinks raiders but he just can’t get us over the hump.
My god this isn’t fair to the die hard fans out there that have to watch this every week well it’s draft time we need more talent at linebacker for sure another corner and a safety merry Christmas to everyone

I love this years team… we have been in every game and have given it are all. We have a terrible OL! I hope in the draft we get an O lineman. We need to keep Carr and Jacobs. We actually looked like we have a solid defense after all year looking like it was the problem. We just need O line help.

Why cant we get rid of Carr? Hes a nervous wreck. Every other team can perform when it counts. Which means when the game is on the line they step up. Carr hasnt done anything
Why!!.. their only going to get hurt again and then back to how good is your QB and carr is not..carr is gone anyway nothing will ever work when your QB is average…if your listening to these guys who work for the raiders their payed not to say anything personal or they will get fired so this is a disingenuous show they talk like this if the raiders are 0-16. The problem with the Raiders is and has been Mark Davis and his incompetence. Not unlike the LA Lakers, the kids of great owners are rarely great in their own right. How many crappy GM’s and HC’s have we seen over the past decade ? In a few years when “Josh and Dave” have been fired, the Raiders will do yet another re-build etc. Davis needs to sell the team or not be part of running the team, he just doesn’t have what it takes to be successful at that job.
I’m in Foster has to go, James has to go, Clelin has to go & Averett sorry about Clelin but he did not get his 5th Year option.

How this is happening is mind blowing….
Overall this team is missing something BIG and I believe it’s preparation and execution.
I haven’t seen one game this year where we made halftime adjustments and were better for it.
Anyone else find it interesting.. interesting that Renfrow said “a lot of people gave a lot” vs saying everyone gave a lot? Same thing Adams and Carr have said.. in their own words. Makes you wonder who the other people are and why they are still on the team?
CARR is what is holding this team from progressing. The rest of the team is slowly getting on board w/the new coaching/plays, but Carr don’t want to. You can clearly see it on his face, he does not even care one bit. You could clearly see this on national tv last night, he don’t care plain and simple. He’ll cry at press conferences saying he loves the team, will if he does, he should do whats best for the team and leave. He’s had 8,9, seasons to prove something, he has…that he’s not a caliber QB. He’s only consistent at being inconsistent, never finding the open receivers, predictable, and just is not a leader. He never wants to rack up the score board to help the defense, does not have a killer instinct to blow away the opponents. He thinks being ahead means relaxing the rest of the game so opponents have a chance to come back and the defense tires out. He needs to go. He can’t even get on board w/the new plays and direction the coaches are trying to lead them. Players on the field, not coaches, he can change the play when he needs to but never does. He needs to go. Rest of team is trying to progress, but he takes them backwards, he’s rarely on target w/receivers and the few times he is, everyone brags about it. He over, under throws, and throws behind or way off. He needs gone, we need a leader on the field.
(edit: hell, the younger less experienced QB’s show him up, even w/an offense that really is not as good as we have, and we have work to do still. Employers normally don’t keep workers who are not producing, sure some slip by and Carr is one of them. He gets paid the big bucks, but does not produce. 8-9 seasons and how many playoffs? I mean hell, look at our record through those years and it speaks for itself. Individual stats aren’t gonna take us to the superbowl and win it)

So many one score losses. I know the players and coaches are giving it there all. Everyone is a part of the losses.big changes for next year if they want to get better for the future. Critical decisions.

So we can blame this1 on carr but how come he always looked better than this with such a worse offense love or hate him how come he is so much worse with this staff thats the big question if you ask me
