@Caleb Johnson he doesn’t elivate 😆. Didn’t he win a playoff game getting sacked like 9xs. Few QBs still stand in and make throws after 5 sacks. He also played well when Chase was hurt and won when Boyd and Higgins got hurt in the same game.

Me too, but i felt like they weren’t expecting the patriots to make a last minute push, so they let off the gas pedal and it almost blew up in their face. It didn’t help that La’el got injured and gave Joe less time in the pocket.

Bengals came down to their defense at the end, this game shouldn’t have been this close but they managed to get it down, this team can no doubt can make it back to the Super Bowl but this is going to be a hectic final two weeks to the regular season

Its such a shame that the Pats defense plays its tails off weekly just to be let down by an extremely lifeless offense. Surprised they kept it that close after after that awful first half.

They Patriots defense got smoked in the 1st half giving up 22pts. The Bengals took their foot off the gas in the 2nd half which “allowed” the Patriots to get back in the game. I’m a Patriots fan and Mac Jones fumbled(luckily the refs intervened) Bengals should’ve dropped 30+. Patriots defense is overrated as hell. Patriots are going 7-10. Hopefully we get an entirely new coaching staff from the HC down. Time for a complete rebuild.

Both teams were in the spirit of giving. Bengals insisted the Pats take the W, but the Patriots gave it right back. Truly this is what Christmas is all about.
absolutely not despite them knocking at the door bengals defense played solidly Mac Jones threw some really good hail Marys sometimes it worked sometimes it didn’t. Burrow did not pull a Tom Brady, whenever Mac threw the ball our defense was there.

That game actually wasn’t that bad compared to the stories I was getting last night from fellow Pats fans. Mac does need work getting that ball out quicker from the snap but overall, there were no stupid penalties and looked like both teams showed up to play but clock ran out. It happens. Gotta love Youtube game highlights.
I’m glad my Bengals Won, but man that was too close for comfort. I know, A Win is a Win. Cincinnati has to play a full game! Up 22-0, another TD may have put the Patriots on ice. Can’t ever take your foot off the gas! Also, Money Mac has to get right! A missed XP and missed FG left essentially 5 points out there. He missed another PAT as well, but there was a penalty on NE for unnecessary roughness. With the penalty, the ball was spotted at the 1. Cincinnati went for 2 and it was unsuccessful. I do have to give credit to the Patriots for never giving up. Up next for Cincinnati, the Buffalo Bills come to the Queen City.
At the half, I was surprised that the Bengals only led by 22….the Patriots were getting completely hammered. The fact that this turned into a closer than it should be game is somewhat of a mystery. Probably had a lot to do with the cold weather, and the Bengals honestly not wanting to play the 2nd half. Just my opinion.

This is pretty much how the pats play even when Brady was still with the team. But Brady (and Gronk) are 1 or 2 TDs better than Mac and are usually able to pull out a win. What worries me is the number of 3rd and longs the offense gets themselves in. Is it playcalling, or is it lack of execution?
