New Orleans Saints vs. Cleveland Browns | 2022 Week 16 Game Highlights – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE
Rae

I don’t know why the Saints toyed in the beginning of the game with letting Taysom Hill run the ball.

    Aaron loiselle

Dennis Allen and Pete Carmichael are ignorant and are terrible at their jobs. That or they’re being bribed to sabotage, but im going with they are just trash and have Sean Payton and Drew Brees to thank for everything.

Rae

That was a helluva effort by Carl Granderson on that last sack of the game

    rudebwoy

    @P H deshaun didn’t even see him coming 😂

    P H

    @rudebwoy 🤣🤣🤣

    Connor Barringer

Dalton looked like a Pro-bowler compared to Watson. Again, great job Cleveland another home run decision.

    “Yeah it was” ⚜️🏈💯

Oh wow that’s the first time I’ve seen Daniel Sorenson since the Chief’s super bowl! Interesting seeing him still in the league

    Chris harwell

I was wondering where I seen him before

    devilmecare

@Chris harwell back when the Saints played the Chiefs he did the same thing to Drew Brees. Sorensen went through a slump. Chiefs so called fans turned on him. He did a lot for that team. Saints got him first and then Mathieu. Mathieu hasn’t changed much. He still gets ran over and throws players for a down or touchdown. When Saints got in the brawl Sorensen was one of the first ones in the pile. While Mathieu surveyed the situation at a safe distance. Mathieu was warned about the arm gestures. A lot of people made a big deal out of nothing.

    Rob Kerns

Fing cheater , shoulve been a touchdown when he hit Hollywood in the playoffs … Dont matter anymore , we’ll see if t hen browns ever make the playoffs again ….

    Andrew Sercer

@devilmecare about Sorenson: yeah that’s what I remember about him (as a chiefs fan) that his performance was hotly debated. I didn’t (and still don’t) know enough advanced football analysis to properly evaluate him … all I know is what I could see: he made a ton of highly visible great plays, but also a lot of times he’d be easily exposed as a weak link on the defense. Really hard to guage his overall contribution… but I liked his high visibility at least

Do my eyes deceive me? Did the Saints actually win back to back games for the first time this season? WHAT-……HOLY HELL USUALLY THE SAINTS WOULD DIE AFTER WINNING A GAME AND IT WAS 7 DEGREES THERE WITH SNOW! THEY STILL WON?!

-SAINTS ARE GUNNAH SUPERBOWWWLLLLL!-

That Tysom hill touched down was one of the best I’ve ever seen for a qb all year

    Scott Abbott

@Tyrese Stewart Forever Absolute Troll alert

    Scott Abbott

@Quentin God forbid you can celebrate more than one QB

    Scott Neale

Who’s Tysom? And was he touched down? I though it was Taysom that scored a touch down.

    Scott Abbott

@Scott Neale God forbid somebody spelled a name wrong

As a Browns fan who is just now getting to watch the game due to blackouts in my area, i must say that I’m bummed to be eliminated from the playoffs. However, even with a loss like this I love this game and am happy that we get 2 more weeks of football! 2023 looks like it is going to be a good one in Cleveland! GG Saints, you made more plays and deserve the win, enjoy it!

Merry Christmas everyone!

More like the Saints made fewer mistakes than the Browns…

Lol isn’t that what every browns fan says every year we got next year it looks to be good

    khamjaninja

Browns do have the most cap space this year – but that’s a bit misleading. They deliberately left a huge chunk of cap, because Deshaun Watson’s contract was structured so that he earned minimum money in the first year, so he could receive only the minimum penalty for his suspension. His base salary this year is less than $500k (he also has a cap hit from his signing bonus of $45 million spread out over 5 years, because the NFL can’t penalize the signing bonus). Next season, his base salary will be $46 million (+ the $9 mil from the signing bonus), and the Browns will have among the least amount of cap room. They didn’t sign anyone this year because they wouldn’t be able to afford them next year.

Keep that in mind. The Browns sacrificed multiple first round picks for the privilege of having Deshaun Watson take up 20% of their cap space for the next four years, and they purposely structured his contract to help him escape meaningful punishment.

    David McGlone

Don’t get your hopes up, 2023 is going to be the same disappointment at the last 50 years.

    Jeremy Watts

Isn’t that what we say every year!

⚜️🙌🏻 Clima complicado, poca afición cardiaco el final pero la defensa hizo el trabajo y un buen trabajo de la ofensiva lograron la victoria 🙌🏻⚜️

Browns looked pretty good in the first half.

This win is defined by the pressure of trying to keep your season alive, and to make the playoffs. I personally thought that we were going to lose it especially after seeing how we played in the first half. It definitely takes a while for our offense to heat up which is not good really because if our defense is playing crappy then well they’re kind of goes the game because we can’t keep up with points. However our defense played really well today got a interception, and we were able to sack to Deshawn Watson a couple of times I think. Shutting down the browns offense in the second half was the key to winning this game especially since our offense caught fire, and got some things rolling. We still need some help to win the division, and get into the playoffs. We have to hope and pray that the Cardinals can give us a Christmas miracle win against the Tampa Bay buccaneers, and that the Carolina Panthers can beat the buccaneers next week. Seeing how they manhandled the Lions this week I could see that being no issue. Even if we lose to Philadelphia there is still a chance, but buccaneers would have to lose every single one of their games, and we would have to beat the Panthers to get the tiebreaker over them. I’m not saying that we’re 100% going to make the playoffs, but God damn it if we have a chance I’m still rooting for my team #WhoDat

    RubberCity

Never count the Browns as a loss

    Thomas Ag

@RubberCitythe browns DID lose tho soooo

Joshua D.

As a Saints fan I think we have some good pieces here and there. Hopefully, either through the draft or free agency, we can get a quality QB to lead our offense next season.

flyingchimp12

Watson go absolutely blown up on that interception lol I’m surprised none of his teammates tried to retaliate

    armuk

    he’s a POS that’s why

Kenneth

The really incredibly nice thing about a Taysom Hill QB is he runs down hill like a tailback. And the saints have been really good about making sure that NO ONE tells Hill that QB’s are supposed to slide.

BullyG

How do these guys not get frostbite on their bare arms/hands???????

    PoopDoopMcGoop

Dude, right?! -30° with wind! For anyone else that’s cell damage and pneumonia within a half hour

    YungYouTubeGod

@PoopDoopMcGoop Let me tell you, it was ICEY in that stadium.

    dc7236

They’re staying moving with all that body heat around em.
Now how the fans and camera crew and cheerleaders stay warm… I have no idea

    Aaron Williams

@dc7236 There’s too much air moving between them and the players are not consistently close enough together for body heat to work.

    dc7236

@Aaron Williams well ok.. The body heat thing may not work.. But the lines on the field are heated.. I’m sure they have other heat sources

Christian Barras

That would be awesome if it came down to the last week with the Saints and Carolina in New Orleans playing for the division championship

wreckim

Cleveland was -7 at the end. Not just in points, but in temperature as well.

Jersey Tomatoes

18 points through 16 quarters of NFL football for the Browns, with Distraught Watson under center. This time a “dome” team goes on the road and shows more physicality than the home team. Haslams might list the team for sale after this outing.

Charles Coker

Saints need to convert Tyrann Mathieu into a receiver for the last few games of the season!. Seeing they have no chance at winning the championship, or playing in the Super Bowl this year. They maybe surprised. Watched a highlights video from when Tyrann played at KC. KC forgot how good a player he is.

    YungYouTubeGod

They did call him the landlord.

YungYouTubeGod

Man it was cold in that stadium. Even with a loss, and out of playoffs. This was a fun game to go to.
