I really wish we had got him early in the season. He’s going to be a great influence on CeeDee. Happy we got him none the less. Tolbert better be following him everywhere, studying how he practices, watches film and approaches the game. I’ve seen his teammates at the Colts rave about his approach, work ethic and professionalism for years. Good mentor for our young WR room.
@Rico Johnson Absolutely. Did you see the separation he was creating all game? Have never seen him embody the #1 WR spot with they kind of confidence. What a spectacular late season pickup this man turned out to be. This is exactly what you want to see from your top skill position play sets this point in the season…

@MVPTee23 yeah. When it comes to QB’s, WR’s, and Corners, I typically don’t make a decisive judgment until their 3rd season. That’s usually the breakout year.
Mainly because 1, rookies are gonna struggle obviously. It’s the NFL, only the generational players shine that early. And 2, the underrated factor of development from the team. It’s an endless what-if spiral of how a bust could’ve succeeded if they had different coaching, or how a star could’ve been a bust in a different system. Just look at Brady and Russell Wilson.
Give the rookie 2 years to develop under CD, Gallup, and TY. He’s got Dak throwing for him, so QB ain’t an issue
Once he’s starting on his 3rd year, then we can know
We got him at the right time.
