QB takes longer to develop than any other positions. Very rarely a QB’s so ready out of college and hits the ground running in the NFL. The team didn’t seem ready for this conundrum.

​@TheHighlanderprimeyou know the QB they just played against was selected literally 1 pick before Zach. I believe in patience but that statement was just voided by the situation it refers to.

@Joel Cohn thanks Joel. I thought as Jets fans we would be on the same page as misery loves company. I’m thinking we have some fans that are kind of like sheep and follow a herd of YouTubers or folks like Chris Simms or Steve Young. Saleh sounds like a guy I’d love to have a beer with and have as a friend but I would not want him anywhere as a head coach. I like to think I’m just realistic. Garret Wilson and Elijah Moore are our best offensive weapons and our next 5 years. All anyone has to do is hear them speak and watch their body language. They know best as they are on the field. It’s really that simple

@B T he turned the 32nd ranked defense to top 5. That along with dealing with all the adversity from QB mess to receivers asking to be traded etc., he’s done a great job keeping the team together and staying on message. He’s a leader of men and what the Jets needed.

I like this idea. I‘d also like to trade for Trevor Lawrence.

I’d be fine if it was Jimmy G instead of Darnold.

Sean, we should not have to understand code. The fan base does not deserve this instant coffee and taking receipts coach. The fan base deserves better. They messed up on the pick. They thought Wilson was the next Mahomes. They were wrong. All they did though was double and triple down and now have cost us the playoffs. When will they just stop the bleeding? I’m worried now for next year that they will say how much he’s grown and learned from the time away and give him a 3rd season to prove they are the smartest guys in the room. To all jets fans…. In a year or two when Saleh and Douglas are probably on their next jobs with another team we are still fans of this team. We were fans when they worked for other teams and will be fans after. Face it, we not only have the wrong QB. We have the wrong owner, GM and coach too.

@thatGuyQuincy true and trust me I don’t want to be that team that changes GM’s and coaches. I’d rather that they learn by this. For all those that are in love with Joe D I’d ask where the hell has he been while Saleh takes all this crap. I challenge anyone to review all his free agents and draft picks and tell me how he deserves any grade better than a C minus. I challenge anyone to explain how Saleh gets any grade beyond a D for his coaching. And any Jets fan that uses an excuse that we would have taken this many wins before the season also ask yourself would you have taken this many wins had you also known before the season that Denver, Cleveland, Pittsburg would all be last place teams. And ask yourself would you have taken this many wins had you known Green Bay would not be a playoff team and under 500. And ask yourself would you have taken this many wins had you known that we would play the dolphins with their 3rd string QB and the bears with their back up. Any other coach in the AFC east would have the jets at 10 wins IMO

Look at all our past rookie qb bust …then look at gms that drafted them… all were soon fired after drafting them… joe on burrowed time( especially with his free agency moves…garrett sauce & avt was his home run draft picks since hes been on team…hes made alot of bad moves in these few years)
