Yeah, this season, while entertaining, is also vaguely troubling. The NFL machine and their media pundits point to the “game surprises” as “parity”, but all the upsets, remarkable comebacks, and outrageous ref calls at critical moments plants doubtful ideas. When the league partnered with uber-gambling to further promote the sport and earn a cut in Vegas $$$, the integrity of the game became a bit subject to challenge, IMO. Oh well, it isn’t pro wrestling yet.

I now see what they mean when chiefs fans go crazy about their team. I’m sure no one can say that Allen, Mahomes, or burrow is a bad quarterback, it’s just really the team they’re surrounded by. Bills and Bengals are the most rounded out teams, while the chiefs defense is mediocre, or some might even say bad. All I’m saying is that the afc title is open to 3 different teams and it will most likely come down to referees and a little luck.

Am I the only one that thinks the comeback king should be shared between burrow and Brady? Brady came back in a Super Bowl, and burrow has had too many comebacks to count

All I know it’s going to be crazy. Mahomes Allen and Burrow fighting all for home field and the Conference title. If Buffalo wins it I think they go to Superbowl. No one will be surprised if it’s any of these 3 teams. We are spoiled to watch these QBs and teams play.
100%!!! As a long time Bengals fan, I’m honestly just happy to not only be watching meaningful games this late in the season – but truly looking forward to seeing my boys play the other best teams in the league. No longer praying for a miracle – just enjoying amazing football. Who Dey.
They Chiefs have lost to the Bills at home and Bengals 3 times AFC west is a very mediocre division. The almost lost to two of the worst teams in football.
This is a rebuilding year for the Chiefs. All rookie secondary, no tyreek hill and we’ve established a run game.
All that and our record is STILL better than last season! Dont ever doubt us!

@robwokser LMAO! Before this season even began everyone was saying that the Chiefs are cooked. That we wouldn’t even make the playoffs. That we would be LAST in our own division due to Russell Wilson, Devante Adams and Justin Herbert.
But we continue to own the west and are the 2nd seed in the AFC.

The chiefs were up 27-0 over the broncos and the point spread was 9points. The money was on KC but low and behold the game ends at and 8 point spread. 😂😂 it’s amazing how accurate Vegas is or maybe it’s the fact that the nfl is listed as entertainment and not a sport? I’m sure Vegas did alright on the Houston game as well.
I think the reason many are slightly overlooking the Chiefs this year is probably down to some very notable stats that are heading in the wrong direction for them that aren’t for just about all other playoff contending teams. Stats that matter in very tight games against strong teams.
Things like the Chiefs having a -6 turnover margin (i.e. 6 more total turnovers given than taken), putting them at 3rd worst in the league. The only other team currently in playoff contention in that same realm is the Bucs…
Then there is the kicker’s accuracy. He’s gotten the chiefs down to 3rd worst for field goal % made and 4th worst for points-after-touchdowns made.
Also, they are bottom 5 in red-zone defense.
Plus, going back to the turnover issues, 7 out of the last 9 turnovers have resulted in touchdowns for their opponents. That’s 42 points (not including PAT) that occurred due to the Chiefs’ turnovers in recent weeks. On top of that, the give at least one turnover every single game. The last time they haven’t had a turnover was I believe in week 5 against the Raiders.
Against strong teams where the nitty-gritty details matter, these issues will crop up for the Chiefs.

Chiefs are in a rebuilding year. It will continue in 2023 with a Big Uglies (OT/Edge) draft for them. They still might win a conference championship. Let that sink in.
KC’s defense isn’t great. The Bills and Bengals both have way better defenses. The Bengals have been told three times in a row that they don’t want to face KC.
Idk why they are saying “Look at the Chiefs” when currently the Bengals are on a 7 game winning streak while also having the 2nd hardest schedule through that stretch INCLUDING beating the Chiefs. The only problem the Bengals have currently is a consistent running game and injuries in the DB room.
The jets have problems picking QB. Sam Darnald number 3 overall…bust for them. Now Zack Wilson number 2 over all….bust. maybe try for number 1 overall

If you google “list starting quarterbacks for the NY Jets” it will list every quarterback who had at least 1 start going back to 1960…Other than Namath, it is an assortment of backups, washed up veterans, and one year wonders…After 62 years it should be obvious that this is an ongoing pattern…So glad Andy took the advice and drafted Patrick Mahomes…Also, Grats to the chargers, raiders and broncos for spending almost $1 Billion between themselves in order to win the West, keep it up boys…
