Honest to God, Gary Kubiak should be hired as a draft consultant, especially when it comes to evaluating WRs. He absolutely loved Jefferson and urged Spielman to take him. Jefferson was HIS guy. (BTW, if Jefferson was gone they were absolutely taking Brandon Aiyuk-this per Spielman in a recent podcast.) Kubiak was also instrumental in Bisi Johnson getting drafted in the 7th round. Kubiak saw him at Colorado State and loved his precision route running. Before tearing both ACLs in 2021 and 2022 he was a solid, reliable receiver. He filled in nicely his 2019 rookie season when Thielen missed several games with a torn hamstring.
