Need changes ln defense. Dont have that chip on the shoulder. You think after so many games in a row of gettin ran over you have some pride to stop it. But most of these guys going thru motions. Diggs looks to have zero passion this year. Really miss Jamal Adams fire. That is contagious for a defense

    Yeah Diggs definitely looks different this year. Looks consistently out of position. But then again most of the back half of our Defense looks out of position and confused most of the time.

    Diggs needs to go! A few picks, but no physical presence at all! What kind of a safety doesn’t play the run and crack somebody! There hasn’t been any hits all year that even made anyone think about going over the middle! No way can we pay 2 safeties this kind of money! Nobody does something so stupid!

Two plays changed game this week and last week. Last week was that non call in neutral zone that Geno thought was free play and throwing pick then the horse coller that wasn’t that call shortly after. This week was Digs drop and Travis fumble. Those two plays in both games sealed fate.

    If the team is that fragile that a couple bad calls (happens to every team in every game – ref’s generally stink) or individual miscues (that’s a Sehawk problem with no one to blame but themselves, coaches and players) is something they can’t recover from or rallye themselves through, they don’t deserve to be on the field nor broadcast in prime time. If I was a Seahawk season ticket holder I’d feel as bad as those that got taken into bitcoin.

    I think the run defense was largely improved, especially in the second half. But we cannot be giving up wide open TDs to George kittle and cannot be dropping picks. It was a tough loss and we were seriously out coached the entire game. This defensive system needs a revamp.

    @Aaron Lamb Let’s put this in context. They’ve been non-contenders for many years leading up to this one. Out of the playoffs or punching above their weight and out in the first round. They remind me of a sparring partner for a prize fighter. used up former contender that’s of little value bu someone else’s punching bag. Yes, they were expected this year to be even worse than previous years. Was the xpectation misplaced or did pundits unerestimate the mediocrity of the NFL and the Hawks easy schedule against realistically non-contending teams.So no, mediacrity after so many years is not acceptable. They are what they are and that’s not much, living ontheir laurels of long ago yester year. It shouldn’t be good enough for anyone. They’re not just a few players away, a few tweaks away, or a few good game breaks away from being competitive. They’re way behind with no hope of catching up with their current management,leadership, and coaching. it you think different than I suggest you tink about the urban definition of crazy…doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

    will anderson is a good pick too. They need better pass rushers on the outside. Shelby harris and Al Woods is serviceable in the interior but they severely lack “that guy” for pass rushers.

I dont think people realize that the 49ers were crap for a long time which gave them plenty of top 10 picks. Which they used to build that defense. It’s the hawks turn to do that and be a legit threat in the next few seasons.

Diggs has dropped several easy interceptions this year. He needs to make catching balls a daily practice routine. Also, on that Kittle touchdown it seemed that there wasn’t much effort to catch him. I want to look back at the replay to see who that third player was that was basically walking toward the play!! Two missed tackles and third guy trailing, looked like no effort. I thought Pete said this is the fastest team he’s had in a long time, sure doesn’t look that way.

    Agree on Diggs, he really need to learn catching balls like WR, he need to ask Woolen, DK, Locket how to do that. His hand was totally off. Right hand on top, left hand on the bottom, no wonder the ball bounching on his chess.

Looking at how we exposed the coverage and how we made 3 tackle to Kittle giving away touchdown. That was just embarrassing!! We need better coaching that makes this defense more physical!

Go back and look at the schedule we’ve played this year, the teams we beat are all bad under 500, and the teams who beat us except the 49 ers and the BUCS are under 500, and we lost to 3 and 4 win teams at home, Geno is just a pretty good backup at best, if he’s that good we would beat the 3 win raiders at home and the Panthers 49ers third string QB out played Geno, so yes the defense is bad, every aspect is bad, and offensively we are so talented, we need a better QB, and Carroll needs to retire.

What is that 4 home losses now this year (not counting the pre-season loss)? We used to go 2 or 3 years to get that many home losses. What happened to the fire the team had? I love our hawks but it’s demoralizing seeing our offensive and defensive line or scrimmages getting pushed back on their butts all game. SF spent as much time in the backfield as Geno did. If you are a big, physical team we are “done”… It’s just that simple. Our guys are exhausted come the 4th quarter. Mercifully the 49ers didn’t rub our noses in it and get another score at the end and embarrass us even more in front of our home crowd. 3rd string quarterback to boot.. Prayers to our Seahawks.

Tank the season for a super draft. That’s the best thing we can do for the future. Two high 1st rounders. That doesn’t happen often.
