It’s crazy cuz you literally here it constantly and it’s sooo annoying cuz it’s the most over used thing ever: When a rookie makes a mistake it’s a rookie mistake when a vet does it’s uncharacteristic. When a rookie makes a play, “you don’t really see that out of rookies, when a vet makes a play “ he made a veteran play” and I don’t think there’s a difference between the two. Talent is talent and I can’t stand statements like those, cuz there is no consistency to them

Hey I liked JG, i thought he had been playing the best football of his career and he was set to be a top free agent next year, still do. However, he would miss open receivers because he zoned so much on his first 2 reads. Purrdy goes through all his reads. I think KS said in his end game conference that the second TD, Kittle was the 4th read. That level of poise and understanding is what i think he adds to this office. I’m not saying he is better than JG, there is a lot he does great, but i think Purdy adds a bit more flavor to the 494er Sauce.

While I’m at, nobody brought up the bogus roughing call against Bosa that cost the 9ers a pick six. I’m willing to bet I’ve been a 9er fan longer than you have, my first game was at Kezar.

I wouldn’t discredit Purdy like that. His preparation is elite. He may not have elite physical traits but I’d compare his mentality to Drew Brees. Not saying he’s the next but in terms of poise, toughness, readiness, etc they are comparable. He was overlooked. Brady was overlooked. It can happen. Will it? It’s looking great so far but we’ll still have to wait and see. Also, Shanahan deserves great credit. Don’t forget the QB Coach Brian Griese, he’s an unsung hero thus far. You can’t just put “anyone” in there. This team is playing much better with Purdy in than with Lance or Garoppolo and I’m a Lance fan but appreciate Jimmy G, no hate to him. Poise and accuracy are high with Purdy. I’d be worried with Josh Johnson stepping in. Think about that. I’m 45. I’ve been watching since Montana to Taylor against the Bengals with the game winning TD. Nonetheless, as always, Go Niners!

When you’re stacked offensively, you can pick and choose how to execute. Everyone’s picking to shoot for 3s when the 49ers are just shooting for 1s at the free throw line and executing everytime cause the Defense is playing at the a high level. As long they win games they can shoot for 1s all day.
