@A Bite Of Life because the cowboys are trash and haven’t been to the NFC championship in longer than you’ve been alive, and the 9ers punked them in their own house in the playoffs with an injured Garoppolo at QB last year. What evidence do you have that the cowboys can even be competitive against a team like the 9ers? Hell, you can’t even compete in your own division.

@R A it’s design. QB option play. That’s what they do with new QBs now to make things simple. Instead of scanning the entire field, just go to either check down, which is eye candy to the defense as well and the deep one would open up. The 9ers do design plays like this where the ball is thrown from the flats down the field. The defense wanted to cover that. That’s probably how the middle got open.

Wow Purdy is quite accurate with his throws for a “rookie ” . Looks like he’s played for many years. Impressive, very talented guy lucky we got him and pure chance we got to see his talents this year. The guys on the team all seem fond of him already. If he plays like this a couple more times we would be fools to use someone else as our starter next year. Use the other guys as backups. This year demonstrated that it’s a good idea to have 2 backup quarterbacks.

It doesn’t hurt that he has the number 1 defense to practice against.
They spent big money to get Trey Lance because NFL is at the end of the day a business. So far it hasn’t worked out. They had to rely on Jimmy G two years in a row because Lance is a bust. 😂 Now that Jimmy is injured again. Purdy is able to show what he can do. Tom Brady was drafted low, and got his start when the previous QB got hurt. Now he is the GOAT.
The way 9ners are playing right now is just full of energy. I hope they can maintain this. Still have a couple more regular season games to go. The playoffs are a different beast all together. That is when the niners need this kind of energy.

I am very impressed with how Purdy has played and especially his pocket awareness. This kid is playing very well so far.

I’ve never seen a rookie handle the blitz with confidence that Brock Purdy does. This kid has so many intangible skills. From his leadership, quick reads to confidence. What a great young athlete

Playmaking lost us 2020 and last year. Nothing about hunger…must have a coach with balls and same hunger give his team a chance. Big test for Shanny round 3….

Interesting that they didn’t include the absurd roughing call on Bosa that took a pick-6 off the board. It was probably the single biggest score swing in the game and the main reason the game even felt close at the end.
I mean that Homer fumble at the end of the 2nd really to me was the nail in the coffin.
Because they called that to keep it close so they don’t lose viewers

Purdy’s double fake and touch down pass to Kittle in the first quarter was so impressive. So much poise and calmness for someone so young. Big future for this young man.

@Yung _ Blaka it was his ability to work that defense and make them bite on the fakes which is why kittle was wide open down field.
Brett Favre pulled the same great double fake screen play on us (49ers) in the 1995 Divisional Playoff. Same play. I just watched the game a few nights ago – here on YT. Favre was possibly at his peak in that game – a real rough & tumble one. When I saw Brock Purdy do it I instantly thought Kyle and his offensive coaches pulled that play from that ’95 game.
It’s been a surprising season for us Seahawks fan this year. We almost doubled the amount of wins everyone thought we were going to win. At this point I think we should just tank so we can get two top 10 draft picks in this update draft. This team is young and has a lot of potential but we all know with that run defense in the playoffs we’d be one and done.
They have played better than I thought they would. Their secondary is getting that feel to it again with those corners. Get a beast LB and Dlineman and they will be a force next year IMO.
I seriously can’t wait for a Niners/Eagles showdown in the postseason! Both amazing defenses and great offenses

@Tony B Eagles offense will have their work cut out for them. They played against good defenses so far. But nothing as nasty as the 9ers defense so far.

As a niners fan I’m thankful for everything and everyone BUT MAN, You can’t tell me this is one of the best and most yet aggressive defenses you’ve seen since the LOB? I mean even if it’s just a tackle it’s a HARD tackle. It’s like watching Poetry in motion.
Ehh, it’s good but not great. The reason they’re holding opponents to low points is mainly because of their pass rush. The other parts of the defense aren’t that good, but because the pass rush is overwhelming, the run stopping gets a benefit too and of course pass coverage. The LOB was a complete defense from top to bottom. Broncos defense 2015, Panthers defense from 2015, and LOB 2013 were all much better defenses.
