LA Rams fan since 1969, Roman Gabriel, Jack Snow, Fearsome Foursome. I hated John Brodie, and Gene Washington of the 49ers, hated Roger Staubach and the Cowboys, this win had me cheering like when l was kid. Diehard Rams fan.

I know it’s just one game, but it’s something special about the way Mayfield turned the attitude of the team and the locker room around. Maybe Mayfield just hasn’t had the right coach and atmosphere around him to flourish….He may have found a long term home!!

Catches a plane on a wing and a prayer .. pays for the ticket .. arrives 2 days before kickoff .. hardly time to learn anything .. hardly time to practice. Comes down to the last 2 minutes .. 98 yards no timeouts and throws the winning touchdown .. my miracle NFL moment of the year 2022 👍

It was miracle Mayfield. Arrives Tuesday evening, doesn’t know the players names on offense and that offense did something that hasn’t been done for 45 years, 98 yards in 1:35 ,you got to be kidding, only in America. Mayfield was throwing darts and dropping dimes. Awesome! Totally Awesome.
In SOONER LAND we call this SOONER MAGIC! We got to watch this feisty guy dart around escaping like Houdini. ( he even beat Mahomes twice). His first night in Cleveland was magic like this. Then, the multiple coaches destroyed him! I’m a 90 yr old Sooner Mom – I was so angry & disgusted with the inferior coaching that I stopped watching the destruction!!! I so wish that he could stay with this coach!! Love ya Baker ❤
Imagine someone telling you week 1 that the highlight of the season for most Rams fans would be Baker Mayfield leading a 16-3 comeback after only being there for 2 days in a season that will almost inevitably end on week 18.

If Mayfield somehow turns out to be a long term winning option for the Rams (which I am doubtful will happen).. his “I’m happy to be home, man.” will be one of the best football quotes of all time.

That was a great way to win over a locker room. “Great to be Home”. A place that actually wants him there. If he goes on to extending his career, and stays in Hollywood, this will be a chapter in the book/movie of the Baker Mayfield story lol. Man, what one guy with charisma and moxy can do to energize an entire team.
