Jeff you doing great. O line is improving. Reggie needs to improve wide out scramble drills. Too many standing around instead of moving.

Passing the ball 65% of the time is the problem. This year there’s been not enough running the ball period. I get balanced attack but when team like the titans run the ball like 70% and you know they’re running but it still works its because they’re built like that. Obviously we’re not built to pass the ball 50 times a game. So maybe stop with the starting the game with 3 passes. Maybe don’t ever pass 3 straight times for any reason and see how that goes instead

Time to change the offensive plays and blocking schemes if not now hopefully next season. The rest of the league has the Colts figured out as to how they operate their offense. It’s not a pretty sight to watch how bad the offensive line is literally getting beat nearly every play.

Matt needs to get out of the pocket and scramble more instead of standing there waiting to be sacked. His age has obviously caught up with him and why is the guy SO SKINY? He has no muscle mass. He mainly throws short passes and most are incomplete or intercepted. Come on Saturday Lucas Stadium is not a rest home for old worn out players who don’t know when to retire.
They ran some pretty predictable play out there. It’s a shame cuz they have talent.
It was not frank it not Jeff it’s o-line staff and maybe parks and maybe if not his calling it’s just the young RG and LT
But today it was soft defence and horrible plays by Matt Ryan that cost us
They don’t have enough talent. That is the problem. They are still short a QB, a LT(Raimann may be it eventually but not right now) those are the 2 most important positions on offense. They don’t have a good blocking TE, and they don’t have a legit no 1 WR.
The D has talent, the offense is short.
Hate to say it but I’d love for us to tank this season out and have a shot at a QB in the draft. Hell maybe even trade up to get Stroud. We desperately need a young passer asap or the talent we already have will want out. Even if we lose out I hope they still give Saturday a shot with an experienced offensive coordinator. With him at the helm we at least look like we want to play

I’m an osu fan and I generally don’t like osu qbs in the nfl but I do think stroud might be a good fit for us. He’s 100% pass first but he’s still pretty mobile when he needs to be. Doubt it’ll happen though.
Why do you think the owner picked Saturday as head coach if he weren’t planning to tank for the rest of the season to get a higher draft pick?

I’m certain the only thing he’s actually in charge of is timeouts and he can’t even do that. He has nothing to do with X’s and O’s just a figurehead.
He’ll never take the blame though. He’s blaming the execution. Players looked all confused out there. Poor coaching. Poor communications. It all falls on who put this high school coach in this position. Had they kept Frank and Matt as QB, they’d be in a much better position. I’m sure of it.

That was rough. 2 things to remember though. 1 it’s part way through the year this is still Franks offense just other people calling the plays and running the team. They aren’t able to scrap the play book they were given at this point, just make changes where they can.
2. We can all see Matt is NOT the guy but the rest of the QB room has to be much worse for them not change. We need a QB with some mobility and can throw.

Yeah, yeah blame the old coach when the owner was bragging about Jeff Saturday having been some type of unofficial offensive consultant for the past couple of seasons.
People were bragging on how well a former offensive player like Saturday would be as a head coach but now that it isn’t panning out (surprise to no one) people are pointing fingers elsewhere.

The coach isn’t the issue with this team. It wasn’t when Frank was the coach, and it isn’t now.
The Colts need QB, LT (Raimann may be the future), WR…these were the needs at the beginning of last off season and the off season before, and before that.
The refs are rigging the games. PERIOD!
It’s not just one thing. This team is going downward. I love the Colts but as Denny Green said “they are what we thought they were”.
Colts really need to take a big swing a least at lamar Jackson this offseason if he becomes available
