@zae Neither of those two would represent cap savings, we would actually be negatively impacted by released Woods.
@Kyle DeDiminicantanio was reading a early mock draft yesterday saying we should release Keenan to save on cap space and draft the receiver from Ohio state Keenan is still a great player and he is only 30 only thing we need is a RT or DT in the first and second round.
@John Davis I think that would be a smart move, but a very unlikely move for TT. If TT is let go (supposedly this is the last year of his deal and he has not been resigned) then perhaps a less attached GM would move on… the Chargers have just been notorious for hanging onto players and not trading them away while they still have value.

He is still a great player I was looking at a early mock draft for the draft next year and CBS has us taking the receiver from Ohio State and getting rid of Allen to save on cap space only thing we need is a top DT,RT, we have enough receiver’s.

You could easily make the case Herbert is the most talented qb of all time. Unmatched size at 6’6 240+, elite mobility both in and out of the pocket, can run past the line as well, and a top 2 arm of all time. Can throw just as far and as hard as anyone ever both standing and on the run. Unfortunately he’s on the chargers so it’s highly unlikely he ever gets enough support from both roster construction and coaching. If he were on the chiefs or bengals last year instead of Mahomes and burrow they easily win the super bowl. So yes, he definitely will have a case as the goat if he gets some help

Seriously. A unique linebacker that plays way above his size. Dudes coverage is top-notch for a linebacker. He sits in the center of the field with the STRAIGHTEST most upright posture I’ve seen in a linebacker. His awareness of the play is absolutely uncanny. His only problem is that sometimes when he sees the run, he dives into it SO FAST that he misses the backfield tackle.
I absolutely love his play style, and I intend to pick up his jersey this year.
Tranquil is having a career year. I’m so happy to see him balling out and staying healthy ⚡️⚡️
He deserves to be a captain next year for how well he lead last night.

We have to keep Drue, that dude is a straight up stud and I can’t fathom the idea of him playing for another team. We have to keep him
We do have to keep him. I’ve kept my eye on him and he is ALWAYS on top of the play. Second to none on his awareness of the direction of the play. Not only that, but he has the ability to completely SHUT DOWN passes to the running back. Insane coverage for a linebacker. His only weakness is when he dives into the backfield on a run he only rarely comes up with the tackle. If he can improve that, he’d be absolute top of the league in my book.
K9 honestly improved this game compared to past.

Chargers pass defense is solid. If we could be average against the run, we’ll have something. Dolphins played into our strength.
Alohi honestly has taken some steps to becoming a solid backup Safety, he wasn’t a liability at all which suprised me, we should keep him for years to come
