Beat a playoff team? Does anybody ever mention. We have not beat a team with a winning record. All our wins have come against the worst teams in football. Sad to say, but this team is going nowhere.

@arthur douglas That is true. Yet fans continue to give the defense a pass. And if you look at the stats. This might be the worst defense in the league. So nothing changes if the DC (Staley) continues to have control of the defense.

Lombardi needs to stop waiting until they’re down 2 scores to start calling downfield plays and needs to not sit on a 3 point lead.
This team has been outscored in the 2nd half of every game. Cause Lombardi doesn’t want to add to leads and defense gets gassed and starts playing soft
Sh#t , we had DOUBLE score leads on the Raiders , Chiefs in the 1st 2 weeks ? The Texans who got it back to 3 points & 10 points VRS the Raiders last week? 2 – 2 in those games ! “Joey Lynn, JR ” coaching there ! Then if that isn’t BAD enough , we DON”T score at all in 31 QRTS in the 1st OR 3rd in ” Swing Pass Joe’s ” 29 games here ! SO, to SUM it all up , ” Joe Blow ” just [ SUCKS ] as a OC ! PS and ” Down the Hill ” our DC is just as BADDDDDD ! The NEW hired SP teams coach is the ONLY guy doing a fine job, BUT, those 2 OTHERS are just WORTHLESS .
Playoff push? Bruh I already checked out and I think most fans did too. If we make the playoffs this year that means: Telesco will keep his job = bad late round drafting, Staley and Lombardi Stay = self explanatory. Strength and Conditioning coaches stay: Self explanatory as well. Better to miss the playoffs

In regards to Herbie vs Tua, its amazing how much better you look when you actually have legitimate top 5 offensive weapons (who are healthy) isn’t it? As well as a OC that is creative and actually designs plays around your strengths. LAC needs to stop wasting Herbie’s talent and get him more weapons and a new OC
what was the excuse last year? Top 5 offense. But, the defense was a JOKE. The defense is STILL a JOKE. Only, this year the offense stinks too. Staley’s defense DONT work. And, he’s a bad coach. Defense was slightly better under Gus Bradley. Not much, but not as BAD as staley’s defense.

The most mind boggling and alarming statistic is a total of three points across the last five games combined from a “top five offense”! That is soooo incredibly bad!!!

Uhmm…I think I see the problem here. The Playoff Push needs to begin at Game 1. A win in game 3 or 4 or 9 (or whatever) is just as important as Week 14. But this team has – according to Staley – been a “work in progress” all year long. Nope. I know they’ve had monumental injuries, but you’ve got to plan for worst case scenario before the season even starts. It’s the Chargers, right? Plan for the expected reality of injuries and poor performances. Work up from there.
So frustrating the team has so much talent but injuries and incompetence always seems to hold this team down.
Hopefully things improve and finally progress 100% towards the right direction for success.

I have been a Chargers fan my whole life, born and raised in San Diego. I’ll never give up on my team. I don’t care what happens. I pray to God, please just let us win one superbowl🙏.
They doing all they can not to have to pay for Herbert. They got Phillip on deals because he was cool with it let’s be honest Phillip is a family man he could have moved on & probably won a Superbowl.
Not with this ownership.
I love the Chargers but i don’t think the offense play calling will because of the play calls if they let Herbert go down field more than one or two times we have a chance. Herbert was doing this with less what’s that tell you this coaching staff is taking something that worked & made it worst.
This is not on Herbert this is on play callers. Us real Chargers fans know all this we watch the games.
At this point, I’m willing to have Matt Money Smith as HC, Daniel Jeremiah as OC, Hayre as DC, and keep Ficken as STC. At least these guys can identify and articulate wtf is wrong with the Chargers instead of saying we’re proud of how we practiced today but fall short on Sundays.
