    So this is just my opinion, it’s time to move on from Tom Telesco. Since 2013, when he replaced AJ Smith, Tom Telesco has a record of 75-82 he was the mastermind behind the hiring of Mike Mccoy, who went 9-23, and Anthony Lynn, who’s record was 29-32. Now he hires Brandon Staley who is, as of Sunday, 15-14.

    Not to mention since 2013 the Chargers have only made the playoffs twice in 2014 when they beat the Bengals and in 2019 when they beat the Ravens.

    Tom Telesco has failed to put together a super bowl contender, injuries are a.part of the game and can no longer be his saving grace..

    Credit where it is due since 2013 he has hit some home run draft picks and rookies such as Keenan Allen, his first pick as GM, Jason verret( when healthy) and even more recently Mike Williams, Austin Ekler, who was undrafted, Joey Bosa, Justin Hebert. Derwin James, Rashawn Slater, Asante Samuel etc.

    And in free agency when he signed, Casey Hayward, Khalil Mack, etc.

    So it’s not like he doesn’t have an eye for talent or know what the team needs. I was furious when we had our top 3 receivers down at once (Guyton, Allen, Williams) before the trade deadline and he didn’t do anything but rolled with Joshua Palmer and DeAndre Carter and Michael Bandy, Gerald Everertt.

    Obviously they’ve stepped up but Hebert is lost without a true WR1, WR2 and WR3 not to mention Herbert is completely vulnerable without Limsley, Pipkins or Slater and that’s lack if depth that telesco is responsible for.

    So yes injuries and all its time to move on from Tom Telesco. Dean and John Spanos unfortunately aren’t going anywhere so we need change where we can get it and it starts with Tom Telesco.
