Herbert has to play like a superhero every game to give the Chargers a chance to win. The team is at or near the bottom of the league in rushing and run defense and mediocre everywhere else EXCEPT in the passing game. Herbert is throwing 40 to 50 times a game and opposing defenses know it. This is not a recipe for winning football in the playoffs, which the Chargers will miss again unfortunately.

Its super sad they need too do a better job protecting him at the very least he can work with not much but everyone needs time to work there was only one competent backup lineman in salyer and they got super lucky with him cus they didn’t think he could at first they drafted him to be a backup gaurd and future starting gaurd the depth on the O-line is so bad they only added one starting gaurd and one backup gaurd that’s not good enough they knew better not to go into the season with storm Norton as the one backup tackle he sucks he should never made the initial 53 man roster he is still the backup tackle but they dont want to have him start though they threw salyer in at left tackle and got lucky now they put foster sarrel in at right tackle cus they dont trust storm Norton so what they heck is he on the team they had plenty of chances to help him at least on the line but refuse too its bullcrap you messed up and didn’t have enough good depth there yeah no thinks both starting tackles will be hurt but it’s the NFL yo uh have to have good depth and they have none anywhere we have only one good safety in derwin everyone else sucks only one edge rusher that can actually get pressure this team has zero competent depth the only places they had depth was corner and rb that is it and those positions have been tested too this is why you always draft at least one at every position and make sure they are the important premium positions not waste another 4th on a rb they didn’t do enough they filled all the starting positions but that was it and this is what happens when you do that
