I didn’t think I would say this but I am starting to see that Staley is not our answer as a coach. Sad but starting to come true. he is basically stating everything that we already know about the game. He has no insight on how he plans on making the team better which he needs to address.

@Adam Akemon that pass pro was the worst I have ever seen, Lombardi hung Herbert up to dry. I have never seen a QB Jersey be dirtier than the damn OLine by the end of the game. Some has to get fired, whether that be Lombardi right now, or everyone by the end of the season. Staley should probably fire Lombardi since yesterday but he remains too loyal and that will cost him his job.

Lombardi’s play calling has been atrocious all year long, defense has been god awful. entire coaching staff needs to be escorted out. and what about the training staff? Chargers have been one of the most injured teams for the last decade. It’s getting old

Enough with first time head coaches. With Herbert and the roster they assembled on both sides, it’s time to bring in an experienced HC. Staley is no different than the last hot coordinators we hired — Anthony Lynn and Mike McCoy. Focus needs to be on bringing a proven winner in Sean Payton who recently moved to the LA area.
Payton can maximize this roster / intelligently build a weekly game plan / turn Herbert into a hall of fame QB. The window is now.
I feel so bad for Herbert. He tried to carry this team once again, but it’s hard when he dosnt have a line to protect him. No other way to put it, we just got outplayed today on all aspects.If we want to make the playoffs, we have to play better than this.

I always love the way the Chargers fight to the end. But as a fan for many years, I just knew the game was already decided. Giving up so much pressure early to Herbert in the 1stquarter is always a bad sign to come. No chance at stopping the Raiders run game makes it even tougher. Need the front office to really put some key players around Herbert moving forward. I know injuries are part of the game, but that goes for every 32 teams. And the good teams always find a way to win. Chargers lack depth and it’s tough to watch at times. But the Chargers are my team and I will forever cheer for them. Hoping we can get our starters back and make a run
