    @James Turner The games ive watched Herbert has not been impressive. Herbert seems to be excellent at hitting a target , his deep ball is accurate. Its not Herberts passing that is an issue for me . Herbert ( IMO ) isn’t doing enough pre snap . The games ive seen it doesn’t seem as if Herbert is in command of the offense . I haven’t seen Herbert give any instructions to other players on offense ….. I haven’t seen Herbert discuss any offensive strategy with his teammates while on the sidelines . Ive yet to see Herbert chew out his line or encourage them . Ive seen Herbert try to win with a big accurate arm ………but I haven’t seen him play a good ” Football ” game from the Quarterback position. He is young and ive only seen him play 8 or 9 games ……..but what ive seen so far in the games ive watched is a young QB thats not taking over the offense and fooling a defense into a bad play ( like getting the defense to jump offsides or throwing to somebody wide open because of fooling the D into thinking youre doing something else . ) So far all ive seen from Herbie is an ablity to know where his recievers are and to hit a target . Herbert learns to fool a defense then he will become elite like Peyton Manning and Tom Brady . If Philip Rivers had Herberts arm then Rivers would have won several Super Bowls .
