@Android Q Music I didn’t hear the “benefit” I heard to give him a chance with another team etc but qbs we have, all have had injuries 2 of which have seen IR this year. So was he a good fit, didn’t seem like it but we’ve paid for him for this year.

Honestly I liked Sam over Baker to begin with… Even after Cam when he stepped in he showed promise. But he has really picked up and I feel we can go places with him.

This was his plan from the start. To have PJ molded in his own image. Sam will be the back up. It will be interesting to see how this goes now. No more scapegoats.

@zack fix it was the plan all along. They want Lamar Jackson style versus a pocket quarterback. Should be interesting to see if Mayfield finds success and stability with a new team. He maintained a humble attitude throughout this insanity – even with all the personal attacks. As far as PJ folks forget the game he had as the worse QB in history in which Mayfield replaced him.
The fact is Baker just isn’t very good. I had hope for him coming to Carolina but he played terrible. Wish him the best going forward.

baker was hamstrung by the browns. if he had a full offseason to learn and work in the offense he would have fared much better. Its also kinda dumb all these coaches expect player to fit into their system, instead of tayloring their system to their players strengths.

I hope he gets to stick around and gets the head coach position. I really don’t see anybody out there that could do better than what he has done.
