It starts with the DC. Most of the teams in the NFL have playmakers give or take. Just like on the offensive side of the ball playing aggressive and not passive is the way to keep the other team guessing. The DC has got to change his play calling or let someone else do it.

Loosing Evans and Booth and having Harrison out, that’s rough for that secondary. Going to need some huge showings from our depth guys and hopefully a pass rush, stop running the same stunts over and over!

The only positive I took away from yesterday was Zedarious started to look more like his old self.

The reason why they aren’t generating pressure is because everything revolves around moving Za’Darius along the DL and he’s clearly hurt. His knee hasn’t been right for weeks and his production has dipped. The guy can’t even turn. They need to let him heal up for a couple games.

Against the Jets, fans were warning about the missed tackles and missed blocks on Defense. We had a those problems and a bunch of other mental mistakes with the Lions. Also, Zone does NOT work if we can not put pressure on their QB, which is primarily a DC caused problem

I love the Vikings! I was disappointed to see the defense has been struggling this year. I think its time to let all of the defense coaches and coordinators go home. They need to change it immediately!

Should of just sat ZS for this game against the Lions & got him healthier. I want that man healthy for playoff time he is the biggest key to winning in the playoffs. The defense is frustrating cuz there has been times in the year or half’s in the game where they look like a top 10 defense then it just all falls apart the next half or next game. The defense played well in the 1st half while the offense was stalling out & making mistakes at the 3 yard line on 1st down then boom it the next half it flipped

This team is one and done in the playoffs if it doesn’t figure out the defensive issues by next week. Otherwise, a loss to the Colts equals a loss in the first round in January.

Iv been a diehard vikings fan for 52 years &to watch our defense is just infuriating to me!! The lions game seemed very odd, horrible officiating, koc made alot of stupid decisions &i think the vikes were supposed to lose . The body language of everyone on the defense was like they didn’t even want to be there, which would make sense if they knew the game was BS!! Anyway, I think the fans should give the team what the team gives to us > NOTHING!! Maybe if the fans stop showing up the wilfs will get more aggressive in putting a good football team on the field , but as of now there’s no damn way I’d spend money and waste a day going to watch the vikes..
