“Hope you guys can stop talking about it too…” 1000% agree. These reporters see one tiny mistake by this team and that’s the only thing they think or ask about. That’s what you call 1 Seed problems.
It’s not a tiny mistake if it happens almost 100% of the time and gives the other team an easy layup for 6. Dave Toub deserves to be accountable the same way Spags was when he played Sorenson. He’s a multi millionaire payed to coach at the highest level.
@Rafa It doesn’t happen 100% of the time. You’re as dramatic as these reporters. They gave a young guy a chance and now they’ve moved the role to someone else. Is that okay with you, Captain Accountable? Do you need him to say “I’m sorry” to you personally? Ridiculous.
@madnessontheisland Someone doesn’t like accountability lol. And he didn’t take ownership of it, that’s the entire point. He blames the position itself for being “tough”. Do you know who takes ownership? Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, Spags, EB. They all say, “it’s on me”, “I need to do better”.
Sorry that I have such high expectations for millionaire coaches. My guess is you aren’t one to take ownership either lol.

“Playing punt returner is tough in the NFL”…this may be true…but that mindset is a terrible one. Punt returning is tough, but catching a punt, just catching a punt…should be routine for a starting punt returner. It should not be a habit to miss every punt. That’s bad coaching, that’s a terrible mindset and that mindset “it’s tough”…therefore, it’s understandable, is why special teams will suffer.
Exactly this. Yeah… 9 or 10 world class athletes running full speed at you is daunting… so the return is near impossible… like you said… for an NFL player the catch should be routine.
No room for error in the playoffs, let this be a lesson for your team.
Hate to say it but it’s been a special Teams blunder every week. Errors catching or not catching the ball, fake punts, missed field goals onside kicks ugh
