Nathaniel Hackett: Broncos need to ‘come together and find a way to win’ – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE
6thMessenger

Ooooh!
The broncos just need to figure out how to win!

Brilliant strategy.

I’ll HC for the Broncos for $5 mil a year.

    Tommy

Im sure you are a Kyle Shanahan lover like most of the hosts on the Fan but what was his record for the first two years? 6-10 4-12? Why cant Hackett have a few years to get going?

    My King Hi

@Tommy cause he needs Rodgers to do good but Rodgers won’t come to Denver. Also he keeps saying it starts with me but never does anything

    Tommy

@My King Hi Are you kidding me? He relinquished play calling!!! It does start with him but he cant control drops, and injuries and players getting dumb penalties. They can try to make adjustments, like putting Jalen Virgil in to field the Kick Off and he did great..UNTIL HE FUMBLED IT!!! We are cursed if anything, luck just is not on our side. BUT, all these other great coaches didnt do well their first season or two. It sucks but we need to give them all time. Hackett is not dumb.

    My King Hi

@Tommy no but he should be helping Russ get better. Also look a Reid and Mahomes they have a great relationship but here Russ and hackett are struggling

    Tommy

@My King Hi Andy Reid’s first season in Philly 5-11 and his last 4-12….its Hackett’s first season!

Sam28

Thanks, coach! Really good at giving the injury report and stating the obvious. How about you change it up, and show you have the ability to lead the football team every once in a while

    troy smith

leading, being competitive and working hard is what he is doing, i agree with you sam28 winning is highly overrated and is not how you measure success in the nfl

Mark Warren

I am tired of hearing him say: “it starts with me.” Well, if it does, DO SOMETHING! Let’s see some real changes

    DonkeyDieHard

@TooLate what is to gain from firing him? Owners start off with firing a coach mid season. Bolen did that once in his entire tenor. That doesn’t want to make anyone want to come here more. Put Evero in there? Then when we decide to go another direction, 31 other teams get a look at him. Will also distract from the only phaze of the ball that looks decent. Most important, we lose our defensive coordinator. Put a 72 year don capers in there? No point in doing that because he won’t be considered as long term replacement. Clint Kubiak? Eh we need more experienced leader of men at this point. I believe at this point, if we want to be able to talk to other coaches first, firing week 15-16 is when he should/will be canned.

    Mark Warren

@DonkeyDieHard Yes it has been a perfect storm and yes there has been a ton of major injuries especially to the offensive line but nonetheless that still does not excuse the lack of discipline the lack of imaginative play calling the mixing up of plays for example when you have a third and three or third and four why do we always go deep why don’t we try to get the first down things like that can be done and that’s all coaching and let’s not forget he had no head coaching experience did not call please accept in Jacksonville so he also hired all coordinators with no previous coordinator experience. That is on him he had no contact preseason or camp with the explanation and justification to prevent injuries how well did that turn out turns out that we can’t practice players are not in proper position not getting the play calling in having to hire someone to help him All those are things that is on him and need major changes some have been addressed and some hasn’t

    whitecholocatemilk

Those are the longest 2 sentences I’ve ever read! 😂

    Mark Warren

@whitecholocatemilk yep I just dictated it and did not worry about putting in punctuation

    TooLate

@DonkeyDieHard what is to gain from keeping him?

Tyler brooks

That look… he knows he’s toast.. even the voice 😂

    David Canada

    😂😂😂😂

D Z

it starts with firing hackett then we can begin to find a way to win

Santiago Trujillo

i feel so bad for hackett he looks so defeated. you can even hear it in his voice.

    troy smith

santiago, don’t feel too bad he’s being paid millions to be incompetent

    Sam28

He’s looked like this since week 1

    J Sanders

    It’s his fault 🤣

    Bob C.

    Next.

    Dan King

He looks like he has aged 15 years in this season alone

Tony Ellsworth

He’s not holding anyone accountable starting with himself. The worst offense ever? Good night. Tear up whatever your plan was, it’s utterly failed. Russ could draw up better plays in the dirt.

Aaron N

If you can beat the Chiefs at least once then your job is safe lol

Roland Connor

My God, he has to do 6 more of these, but doesn’t matter, if you didn’t look at the date of video, you would not know which game he was referring to. A quarter of a billion… say that real slow… Heist of the millennium.

Mark Gaffney

It’s surprising Hackett hasn’t already been fired. What the new owners waiting for?

    Ryan Miller

At this point they have pretty much decided that the team will probably lose out anyway so why not get some entertainment out of it in the meantime 😉.

    HaloMediaRecords

    scheming a new Walmart discount.

Robert Kauk

We hear the same things week in and week out from Hackett. He has said this speech 11 times now. It’s so obvious he is in over his head.

supratrd900

The GOAT at Injury reporting. Denver is undefeated in that area.

    Christopher Espinosa

    🤣🤣🤣

Andron Hillhouse

Hackett’s main issue is he set himself up for failure by promoting guys to asst. coaches that had no previous experience. The OL coach The OC The DC, the RB coach EVERYONE is new to what they are doing. The only person who has any experience is Kubiak. What is Outten’s job?! Hackett didn’t even want Outten as his OC originally. He wanted Luke Getsky. This team was doomed before we even took a snap but we were too busy drinking the Russel Wilson kool-aid to see

Brent Bman

I’m frustrated by the lack of calling out coaches that haven’t produced. The O-line has regressed. The offense is pathetic. That lies squarely on the O-Line coach and the offensive coordinator. This clearly points out that there were too many coaches on this staff that were stepping into greater responsibilities for the first time. In retrospect, this season was doomed when the staff was formed.

HensonNO

We just went from „we had good practice“ to „here’s our injury report“

Nate

Please Denver fire Hackett

James Crawford

Sounds like a broken man who is completely out of his depth. This has to be one of the worst hires in the history of the NFL. Sad to see the legacy of this great franchise trashed on a weekly basis. You should be ashamed

C Thomas

Go Brrrroncooooss so excited to see the team being within arms reach of every game we played. That’s super promising and we haven’t even cracked open Hackett and the team’s potential too 🥳… wait, why don’t my fellow Broncos fans speak about the team’s tough schedule and numerous injuries, 1st time personnel and coaching staff going against practically all playoff teams and or ‘tenured’ coaching staffs – save division rivals….We know that a new revamped coaching staff doesn’t make a playoff team for a first attempt in the season, that’s unheard of if you want instant wins, name the last team that did that …. Just not even remotely logical, even cheifs missed out with Reid’s first season and they were already a playoff team.
So stoked about the positive things the team’s achieved 🏁🏈🏁

troy smith

“Look, we’ve won 3 games. How many games have they won in the XFL? How about zero? My 3 wins are looking pretty good right now. And as for those 8 losses as far as I’m concerned they never happened so we’re undefeated. Not bad in my book. Just givin the people what they want. Supply and command.” – Nathaniel Hackett

Scott Babcock

this guy couldn’t win games with a healthy broncos team there’s no way in hell he can win any games with them all beat up
