I’d love to see Mara sell the team. This reminds me of their horrible teams back in the mid-60s to late 70s.

You raise a good point, I think the best avenue for Jones and Barkley would be to leave the Giants for better situations to succeed and likely to get paid more. It’s likely that the Giants won’t have their pocketbooks wide open and other teams will offer better deals than the Giants offer. In addition, other teams will likely have better offensive lines than the Giants and most likely better wide receivers. I think it is going to take two years for the Giants to develop a roster that will be competitive to the Eagles and Cowboys, I believe in the HC and GM but they are going to need a couple of drafts and rounds of FA. While we have had a better than expected season I get the feeling we may lose some pieces going into next season they will need to fill. Getting a QB at pick 20 is going to be problematic. Ironically it won’t be if the Giants want to keep Jones it will be if Jones wants the Giants given their offer and supporting cast.
