The bye week went by fast
Won’t hold my breath for major changes in personnel at this point…
Major changes in personnel are coming, they just didn’t come this year because they couldn’t free up the cap they needed or acquire the extra draft picks they needed until next year. They’ll have extra picks and the most cap room in the league coming into this offseason. That was always the plan. The Mack trade tied their hands financially this year, but was intended to set them up for next year.

how is this ruining anything.I am the last person on earth who believes in tanking.But these circumstances are an anomaly.For 37 years we have had mismanagement and mediocrity.I guarantee you after this next draft and the free agents they sign that every bearsfan will be so blown away and ecstatic!

@glen metcalfe 100% agreed. I’ve never liked tanking either, but they are competing in every game and getting invaluable experience while doing so. The sheer amount of money and draft capital they’ll have next season is mind blowing.

Why is MUSTIPHER still playing?!?!?!
Because he’s the best center to ever play the game. He’s a first Ballot hall of fame easily unanimous.
Because we have no one else to play center.
Because the “genius” Ryan Poles signed the even-worse Lucas Patrick.
Poles is not a good evaluator of NFL talent. Ask: Dakota Dozier; Julien Davenport; Velus Jones Jr.; Alex Leatherwood; Trestan Ebner; Al-Quadin Muhammad, Ryan Bates; James Daniels, etc.
@thomasgena9365 James daniels isn’t good anymore, velus was hurt all offseason and while hasn’t stepped up yet he’s slightly improving. You seem to suddenly forget Braxton Jones, Brisker, Gordon, and Sanborn and focus on only a few. Also, he’s one of the main contributing factors to rebuilding the chief’s oline last year. Patrick in no way was worse than Mustipher… he was hurt and never got to 100%, then had his season end. Not exactly Poles’ fault. But hey, you’re right he knows nothing. Not every GM makes 100% slam dunks and especially not a first year GM, so calm it down there bud 😉 to add to this, Leatherwood has literally played 1 game and 10 snaps in his 2nd week… he also did well in those reps… do you just not watch the games?

Want that second round pick in the draft 3-14 rough for the franchise coaches trying to play down not tanking hard on them as the fans hope next year we have 10 wins but Detroit looks great
