wow-i thought Carr said earlier in the season that they were not gong to play conservative 2nd halves and keep teams in games. Tney had way too many chances to end that game early. 3rd and 5 and 1 yard passes, too conservative on 3rd and1 and 2. What happened to Mac Hollins running end arounds in the 2nd half-he was killing the Rams in the first half. Ferrell jumping offsides on a punt with 12 minutes left, really-what are you thinking. The sad thing is EVERYBODY will say “what a comeback win by Baker Mayfield,” when it was obviously a complete collapse by the Raiders. Holding on the interception at end of game. How many blown chances this team had. This will officially knock them out of any playoff chance, so don’t have to worry about that. One of the worst collapses bc of HORRIBLE playing, not bc the other team deserved it. Only the Raiders can allow a team to go 98 yards with zero timeout left in the game to lose. Kind of laughable. they just don’t learn from their earlier mistakes. They needed to put the ball downfield and score to end the game instead of trying to run 30 minutes off the clock strategy–just plain stupid

McDaniels is the play caller he tried to play conservative ball and that’s why the offense doesn’t execute 2nd half bc they don’t let carr throw the ball deep or do some trick plays 🤷🏽♂️

NO. The real good teams blow out who their supposed to and win the close games. But if you’re a shitty team like the Raiders, almost every single game u play is close, and the ones that arent, u get your asses kicked, which is a tell tale sign that you’re not very good.

They let a QB who has been there for 2 days come in and beat them!! A few weeks ago they let a guy who has never coached come into allegiant and beat them. McDaniels and his staff are in over their head!!

@TooLate yea our playoff hopes just died in a game that should’ve been won easily we should have put up at least 25-30 points on the Rams but once again we choke in a game we should have won n in all honesty anyone who blames defense when they held the Rams to 3 points the entire game till that last 5mins don’t know football this is at least 80% on offense alone not scoring on multiple drives to put the game away n put defense on the field too much with all the 3 n outs in the second half.

Clearly, the gap in talent between Waller/Renfrow and Moreau/Cole is much less than Stafford versus whoever the Rams were going to play at QB before they claimed Mayfield. McVay needed to start Mayfield right away. He didn’t have a choice.

Tillery committing that penalty is on Carr. The defense coordinator calling press instead of 3 deep coverage on that TD is on Carr. The refs not calling any holding penalties on Crosby yep Carrs fault too. Bad coaching, bad game plans, bad playcalls and penalties by other players all on Carr.
They are testing out injuries lol…different scenario bud. Coach sucks regardless.

@Willi six the way I see the situation is, Bisaccia was the older, wiser, tough football coach all the young people respected. There was buy in from the team.
I do remember they didn’t win their way to the playoffs handily. They got lucky and really didn’t deserve to go. Then Carr was a primary reason they lost the first game.
Honestly, I don’t think it would easy for anyone to inherit the Raiders and Carr.

@Willi six losing Ruggs made a big difference. It put a cap back on the offense. And Carr still had the problems he does this year, and every year. This year in fact has gotten worse for him in some ways.

Rams are like.. well, not ALWAYS.
I don’t really hold this against McDaniels, as much as a disappointment this season has been. Thursday games are odd and the Raiders should have won, but the Rams had some great throws and catches that last drive. It was that 15 yard penalty that lost the game, moved the ball up and stopped the clock.
Thank you raiders for never disappointing when it comes to disappointing fans. No matter what city, no matter what state you are consistently disappointing.
