Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. San Francisco 49ers | 2022 Week 14 Game Highlights – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE
Geosync

Purdy’s pocket presence and scrambling/throwing on the run is tip top. For a rook with basically no experience it’s very encouraging. Dude stood in there and took big hits to drop accurate passes down field. Kyle needs to build on that.

    teddy boy

@Larry Dorado well jimmy g didnt, we only scored 13 points on the saints. 49ers just got better on offense

    Roel Guerrero

Lol came to the comments to say dam he look like Brett Favre out there lol 🔥

    AtomicBeats

@BkINGzhe has no NFL experience tho, college and nfl are really different

    TerribleTom Vu

@keli449 I don’t need to say anything that a knowledgeable person doesn’t already know. Niners scored on first possession followed by a punt. Then scored on their next two possessions, a fumble and then another TD. Would you say that is a “good” defense? Good defenses don’t get shredded by rookies and journeyman quarterbacks.

    Julian J

Low drafted players often have this hidden talent in them that doesn’t come out until put in the spotlight. It’s like a confidence booster. Plus now it’s a chance to make a name for himself since he has zero competition at the position lol

Kenwood

All season I didn’t care about San Francisco, but after seeing Purdy’s performance and the fact that he’s Mr. Irrelevant, I’m pulling for this young man.

    aarongdukey

    Nice lol

    Brandon Hardman

Rafael hill I totally agree with you 💪💯

    David Martinez

@Rafael Hill  I’m going to sound like a hater but I think there is very little chance he will amount to much in this league. He had a great first game. It happens. Ask Davis Mills, Cooper Rush, Bailey Zappe, Daniel Jones, OH and speaking of 49ers remember Nick Mullens who threw for 300 yards and 3 TDs his first start and beat the team 34-3.

    Joey

    @casper191985 I thought it was a concussion?

    casper191985

@Joey nah Alex Jones had a neck injury, much like what happened to Andrew luck.. it ruined both their careers

mrabrasive51

Watching his dad crying in the stands was awsome!..he raised a good kid.

    Dean Talamantes

there’s literally no way of knowing that you probably believe everything you see on the news

    @money4385 Tru dad

    Kevz

As a father I almost shed a tear too. What a talented youngster

    So Isaidtogod

LOL, it is a freaking game.

    WretchedDrummeR

Brock Purdy’s high school coach said Brock is an old soul.
It’s funny cause Trent Williams said he walks around the locker room and in the huddle like if he’s Peyton Manning, like someone who’s been around the league 20 years already. lol

Anthony Mendoza

That Purdy TD run was so clean they decided to play it twice 😂

    James Wormsley

Whoever edits these highlights is trash. Conpare these to MLB highlights – it’s fackin amateur hour over here.

    Onaip

That was two touch downs. 🫡

    Sean Stuchbery

@TheGeneral132 they used to be so good but they dropped the ball big time with editors

Marc D

Great job by a rookie quarterback, and what a pick-up McCaffrey is for the 49ers. The team looked really impressive in this game, lets see if they can keep it up.

    Juice

soon both of them will be injured

    leroy celis

the 49er offense is literally tailor made for a back like mccaffrey who can line up and be dangerous everywhere, don’t think they could have gotten a better back for that system. Also his biggest issue in carolina was they had no one else so everything got piled on him and he’d get injured. The niners have plenty of personal so he can share carries, take downs off etc, which should (hopefully) really help keeping him healthy.

awesome to see. He is such a great player who’s last few years have been marred by injury, hope this sees him return to greatness

    Marcus C

@leroy celis Yeah, I laughed when I saw Lynch had gotten McCaffrey! I was ecstatic!! Yes, he is perfect for Shanahans offense and of course is a Stanford grad so that’s always kinda special! He has made such a difference since he’s been with us it’s a real pleasure to watch him! Good point on us having enough good personnel so he doesn’t have to be in there as much. Keeping him healthy is the key.

    Marc D

@leroy celis It’s such a shame when the top players coming up get injured. You never know what they could have done.

    WretchedDrummeR

Some of the team has been to the Superbowl, and lost. Been to NFC Championship last year, and lost. They’ve faced injuries and adversity throughout the past three years. .They know what it takes and all the mountains they have to climb.. I hope they can keep it rolling!!

Crimestick

This was fantastic, and I certainly wasn’t expecting it! I would love to see the Seattle Seagulls get the same treatment!

    Arsenio's ESL Podcast

NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT “THE GOAT” LAYING AN EGG.

Unreal. He never has trash games pinned against him, but when he wins, he’s the best ever. America is garbage.

    Crimestick

@Arsenio’s ESL Podcast You mom is garbage.

Danny

I hope we can keep Purdy from going down like our other QB’s. What an incredible story the 49ers have going this season. Just wow.

    C_Wonder

He’s getting an MRI on his oblique injury…. these players getting killed out there

    Joseph

They didn’t send him out there to merely “manage” things……. he running the offense!

Absolutely, as an Iowa native and ISU fan; I am loving this lol! Was lucky enough to share drinks with Purdy at a local pub while watching the Iowa VS ISU basketball game last year.

    40 NINE9

    @callmecatalyst duhh lol

Stephen Porter

I haven’t seen CMC look so happy in years good to see him having fun and enjoying himself again

    Clutch Productions

Well he was in Carolina so I don’t blame him for not being happy 😂

Abe

McCaffrey and Deebo are both our treasures in the offensive. So glad that they both had TDs.

    Forrest Thompson

aiyuks fun to see when hes makin plays as well

    Casey Vaughan

Yall lucked out by getting McCaffrey

GingerJabber

All else aside, this 49ers team is just fun to watch. Their scheming is so creative. Their execution is on point. They have it clicking in all four phases. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a Super Bowl LIV rematch this year.

T G

You just know a quality QB when you see one. This guy has it.

Miles Paget

This niners team is so awesome. Purdy looks so composed for his age. You can really tell this whole niners team has rallied around us. At our best I honestly believe we have the best offense and defense on the NFL.

    Z

Tom Brady’s back where he grew up, I love how he has a towel on the field, so that he can trip over it as he’s throwing 😅

    321snoot

@Z Anyone that kicks Brady’s *ss is okay with me. I live in New England, and I’ve always hated Brady. Thanks, Brock (and 49ers)!

    SPARTAN NEWO

Very surprising considering how he carried your whole franchise to 6 rings

    Obadiah Plainman

Best offense? No, but they’ve been top 5 offense duribg 6 game win streak. They’re without a doubt the best defense.

The eagles and chiefs offenses better right now

    republica

@321snoot Brady’s looking for work next season? He just got to the top of the cliff and next step ain’t pretty.

Tony G

Man Deebo is unstoppable, hopefully he makes a full recovery.

    IanDanger

    His ankle says otherwise.

    joseESSJ

    4/6 weeks I believe

    SBomb121

    @IanDanger too soon ☠

    Geeky American Otaku

@joseESSJ Maybe less. It’s only an MCL/ankle sprain. He might be back before the playoffs. We definitely need him then. If we’re lucky, we’ll have clinched the NFC West by then.

EinhornBoy 3000

Not even a 49ers fan, but I could watch that 49ers defense every week. Might be the best defense we have seen in the past 5 years.

    WretchedDrummeR

And they’re missing a few players! like Emmanuel Moseley, Jason Verrett, Javon Kinlaw just to name a few.. Arik Armstead barely returned recently.. imagine if the whole Defense was healthy?

    Synyster2040

@WretchedDrummeR DO NOT GET ME STARTED 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 always messes with my emotions everytime i think about it

    EinhornBoy 3000

@Jason exactly, but if they hold up against elite teams, they have all the potential to become one of the best ever.

    Eric Denq

    what about rams last year?

Mona drkns

This season…. just wow. Let’s do this all the way to SB!

Ayen A

It was wild to see this game in the flesh! The crowd and energy never disappoints, rain or shine! Couldn’t feel my fingers with how cold it was when it started to rain but people are still cheering 😂

    WretchedDrummeR

@hardkore360 It’s in Santa Clara.. we’re not used to the “cold” over here LOL we would freeze to death in a December game at Chicago or at the Packers lmao

    hardkore360

@WretchedDrummeR ah ok lol, im sure folks up north would laugh at Chicago weather, its all relative my friend!

    Ayen A

@hardkore360 it was cold for me! 🤣 many Californians not used to cold weather like people on the east coast lol. I’m also from Los Angeles so Bay Area “cold” is definitely cold for me 🤣😅

    hardkore360

@Ayen A its just funny seeing folks with gloves and jackets on when its like 50-60 deg F outside 🤣, when in March-April 40s seem like a heat wave here lol

    Tyler Theurer

@hardkore360 lol, just last month we were having 80+ degree days, so the mid-40s have seemed pretty cold when it is raining. We’ve been freezing this week, but compared to Chicago and other places with a winter, yeah it isn’t too bad.

Michael Russell

McCaffrey is a beast. It’s soo good to see him land somewhere where he has a chance at greatness.

    Darrian

As a Panthers fan, sad to say it but couldn’t agree more..

Tim Mauk

Brock was our high-school quarterback, played baseball with him there too. Dude is incredibly talented but was never Vicky about it. Love to see his success and couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy

dgh49

As niner fans we must give the equal amount of love to Dre as we do Fred and Nick. Big play Dre! Dudes an animal.

    Synyster2040

Been giving that since his rookie season against Seattle back in 2020 🔥

    Jesus Figueroa

    Always, WPS!

    twyz0ne

Tbh, I think he might be getting a little better than Warner at the Linebacker position. He makes a little more noise out there. Rarely miss tackles, ints, more explosive than Fred. He’s been everywhere out there. Fred has been a little more quiet at times. He just doesn’t get around like Greenlaw does and it shows. It was Greenlaw nearly getting another int in the end zone. It’s Greenlaw stopping 3rd down conversions. It was Greenlaw tipping the ball on a int. I think he’s becoming somewhat better than Warner.

    Gavin Quaid

@twyz0ne Next time you watch a game, notice how Demeco Ryans is putting Dre Greenlaw edge to edge to cover the run with Al-Shaair and Fred is playing pass coverage like a complete unit. Warners got 10 pass break ups this season. Warner has been playing like a db lowkey this year and he is the perfect field general. They all complement each others play style is all I am saying.

Dabbing Toast

It has been two games which is always a must mention, but Purdy looks so willing to do the things Jimmy won’t. Pushing the ball outside the numbers when its open (even though he doesn’t necessarily have the arm for it), taking that extra second and not just blindly ripping the ball into the middle of the field, and so far he’s shown a solid pocket presence to move the pocket and make those out of structure plays. Hope he keeps it up would be a cool story. Besides we all know how the Jimmy G experience ends with this team.
