I wonder if the NFL has any regrets about scheduling zero primetime games for the Lions this season. They’ve easily been one of the most entertaining teams in the league.

It’s so heartwarming to see Lions fans have something to really cheer about now, after so many years of disappointment. Their loyalty to their team is being rewarded with hard play on the field and a new winning mentality.
I feel you. Before 2017, the only thing I dreaded more than being an Eagles fan was being a Lions fan. Each and every single fan should be getting a ring for the bullshit they’ve had to deal with lol.

@Juan Quedo I will never forgive Detroit for being responsible for fans being robbed of the last couple years of Barry Sanders’ and Calvin Johnson’s careers. Rob Gronkowski literally retired the second he heard Belichick was going to trade him to Detroit. Their franchise is such a cesspool that going 6-7 in perhaps the second weakest division in the entire league is somehow a point of pride. Detroit fans get an overpaid choke artist QB in a trade that sees the other franchise immediately win a super bowl with their old franchise QB and still…. still they claim they somehow won the trade in getting Goff. Detroit should be folded as a franchise and its players should go to the other teams in a special supplemental draft.

@Juan Quedo It’s just the Lions. I know too much about them being from Chicago and bouncing between living in Minnesota and Illinois for many, many years. No other team has mismanaged generational talent like the Lions have. I’ve been following them since the early 80’s, whenever there has been hope in Detroit they seem to do the same thing with it every single time. Imagine if Barry Sanders had played in Dallas behind that offensive line Emmit Smith had? Imagine if Calvin Johnson had played in New England or Indy or the Andy Reid Eagles? The record books would look completely different.
The Lions have a healthy set of running backs , receivers , and Goff playing his best football this season. They have the potential to be a matchup nightmare.
Potential, naw I’m a Eagles fan, and I can say the Lions are already, and have been a match up nightmare all season long except that 1 game they got blown out by whoever it was. It was the defense holding them back

If we make the playoffs I bet we would be one of the most feared teams to play against. I know next year we will be a top 3 NFC team. Our offense is insane and now we can use all our draft picks on bulking up our defense since Goff has proved himself we don’t need a QB.

Lions offence has been straight 🔥🔥🔥 the past few weeks and it’s genuinely great to see them playing well.
They’ve been pretty great on offense all year aside from the New England game

Been watching Detroit since Gary Danielson got rag dolled out of the league. I’m not sure I’ve ever witnessed a Lions team with this much grit, and resilience. They just won’t quit.
They’re also solid across the board, not having to rely on a star playmaker to be competitive.
This game reminded me of the 04′ Pistons vs Lakers NBA finals.
They weren’t worried about Kobe Bryant scoring, and focused instead on shutting down everyone else on the court. And that’s exactly what they did.

@Pace Gravity I live in Chicago, I know too much about the lions because they play in the same division as the Bears. History is on my side when I say this won’t last. Goff will go back to being the dud he turned out to be three years ago. It’s only a matter of time. The lions will end up being the lions… a terribly run franchise destine to be a doormat. By the way, the NFC north is one of the worst divisions, probably the second worst division, in the entire league. Don’t be fooled when better teams don’t play so good against the lions, it’s only because no one takes thems seriously…. and they’re still 6-7.
Bengals fan here. I worked in Detroit for about a year and a half and love the city so happy for the Lions. They have a small shot at making a playoffs just keep grinding it out.
