They say that in the tunnel as the players enter the field are the legendary words, “Commitment to Excellence”. I think the words “Remember to Played Undisciplined and Choke” would be far more reflective of the Raiders ever since the Jim Plunkett days.
Baker Mayfield. Cut on Monday, signed by the Rams and arrived on Tuesday. Won the game with a 98 yard drive less than 48 hours after arriving with a new team, new coaches and new teammates. WOW is the only word I have for that last drive.

Lol… Nah man that’s definitely not realistic for a team to be that good since they started, and then all of a sudden be that bad for that long. I haven’t even been a Raiders fan longer than 2016 and I can tell you that on the outside looking in something didn’t seem right.

To be honest I thought Mayfield was a wrong fit for the Rams but I’m glad he played well and that last drive was fantastic for not having any playing time with his receivers after just stepping off the plane…….I bet that was one sweet win in the locker room afterwards…..Looks like it’s a little late for the Rams this year for the playoffs but this is definitely something to grow on for next season.
It blows my mind that it took this man 2 days to learn the playbook and work with guys he’s never played with and still got the W
@Shawn Anomaly Idk maybe because he was friends with some big names of his Era that also played. I think they would know a little better than any of us. You can believe what you want but I believe my Uncle the guy that actually played 5 seasons in the NFL.
@kid ballen24 hey buddy there is a difference between rigged games involving bribery and money and a script. WWE has a script like any other show on TV where somebody writes a story and the actors follow suit with what their characters are intended to do. The NFL, basketball, golf, UFC, Boxing, etc. can be rigged/bribed with money being the motive. There isn’t some massive conspiracy brother it’s just basic human nature. People cheat. Suck it up and move on.

Way to go Rams. Congratulations Mr. Mayfield. Ya’ll looked like Champions. Defenders that just slugged it out for the ball. Receivers that were fearless. O line that was dominant. And a shiny new QB that just happens to have a cannon on em. Can’t wait. 😃
This makes me so happy. I’m a Cardinals fan so I don’t really have a stake in this, but I feel Baker has been the brunt of the ugly side of the NFL his entire career and it’s damaged his soul. Yes he’s underperformed and not been consistent, but I’ve always rooted for him. So good so see a win for him considering everything that’s gone down. Amazing comeback, so fun to watch. I loved to see the Rams celebrate with him and have his back. I hope he can continue to have success.
Not me I never care to much for baker when he got drafted he thought it was going be easy in NFL and he thought he going be this next great qb.. And I remember him talking trash when giants drafted Daniel Jones high in first round .yes I understand giants never should drafted Jones that high but who is he to say something like that just saying
@david ellsworth well he wasnt wrong about Jones . He has also never staked claim to being a “great QB”. If you are going into the NFL not hoping to be great, then why even go to the Combine…any player that goes into the Draft hopes to be great lol.
Very nice comeback, but helped by a pass interference call (pretty legit) and a horrendous Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalty by the most undisciplined team in sport (knocking the ball out of a guy’s hands way after the whistle has blown? WHY???”. Just give them an extra time out and 15 yards!! Against almost any other team, Baker would have tried hard and failed. But the Raiders specialize in blowing games and doing the dumbest things possible at the worst possible times, so good for Baker, haha.
I really wanted Baker to win his first game. I hope he will keep getting better in his new home!
I’m happy for him. I’m a browns fan and even though he isn’t there I’m still rooting for him. Rough game but he really bounced back that last minute and showed what he’s capable of

As rams fan I’m glad we got soild quarterback for the rest of the season even tho we have no shot at the playoffs it’s nice to get chance to at least win the last couple games of the season instead of playing horrendous football
This game had me torn I have been a raiders fan my whole life and it wasn’t until I moved to Oklahoma when I was 13 years old that I became a Sooners fan and from that time on the Oklahoma Sooners has been my favorite college football team so last night it was weird cuz I was rooting for the raiders to win but then I was also rooting for Baker Mayfield to do good and yeah that last drive 98 yd with a minute and 45 to go in no timeouts he just showed everybody the reason why he won the Heisman in college and the reason why he was the number one draft pick that guy had less than one day to prepare for this game and came out and performed like way to go Baker I hope the ram sign him boomer sooner

@that one guy imagine being a raider fan you just beat the chargers and you went on a 3 game winning streak you’re feeling confident then you have a 16 and three lead and then Baker Mayfield who’s been a backup for quite some time in Carolina comes out of nowhere and suddenly knows how to throw again and you lose to this guy this is the most raider thing ever

What a thrill. I went back and looked at it again and at least on this day Mayfield was a great quarterback. She only had one bad throw that I can find. He threw the ball with such Authority. His timing was amazing. of course doubly so since he just arrived there midweek. I think it’s the coolest story in the NFL this week
