Not to make excuses for Tua, he could have done better but did have his worst game las sunday against a No1 Defense, missing critical players at the O-Line didn’t help. I’m confident he will bounce back. Last week’s loss whas a good thing for the Phins IMO. Let’s go Phins !!

‘Not to make excuses’, yet proceeds to make excuses. Tua just played bad. Terron Armstead wouldnt have made a difference. Tua wasnt pressured on his missed throws, and Bosa came off the left side of the Dline on his sacks.

I’m a charger fan but I’m going to be real..our defense is atrocious and can’t hold a lead.. Herbert continues to play great despite all the injuries with the offenses but it’s not going to be enough. With a crap oline and same scripted plays, Herbert is going to have another tough game. No playoff run at this rate. They mind as well look into next season starting with getting a new head coach, offensive and defensive coordinator. Hope Sean Payton is in the mix!
If the O-Line can give Tua time to throw, Hill and Waddle are gonna have their way against the La Defense. Miamis wins it 31-26
As a Chargers fan this is either going to be really close or a blowout for the Dolphins. Bolts D is like a wet paper bag. O-line can’t stop anyone either. They only gave up the fewest sack in the 1st half of the year because Herbert could avoid people. Literally all on Herbert to have any chance.
Gonna be a fun one to watch I hope they end in a tie cause if we lose an Chargers win then they’re back on top in the hunt race & for Miami itll jus hurt their playoffs percentage if they lose (sigh) So many factors, but as of right now The New England Patriots have a 49% chance That’s exciting to hear.

Armstead should be back on the line, so that’s a huge plus. I also think you’ll see the Fins run the ball more. They didn’t run poorly last week, they just didn’t run at all!
I see a more balanced attack. I also see our D being able to get to Herbert.
I don’t think we need Armstead this week bc the Chargers defense is so anemic. Maybe we ought to keep him out so he’ll be fresh and safe for the Bills the next game. Just a thought.

Vs the Niners, it wasn’t the physical pressure to Tua as much as the pressure in his head.
Going into last Sunday, Tagovailoa ranked first among signal-callers in these pressure categories:
Passing grade without play action (because the running game didn’t drop them out of the nickel)
Passing grade on intermediate throws (10-19 yards downfield)
Passing grade on quick passes (passes thrown in less than 2.5 seconds)
Expected points added (EPA) per play.
The pressure brought by the Niners was the third least in the entire league in week 13.
No one has better ratings on the year with success on pressure downs than him. (Above).
Pressured 1-6 times in a game, he’s 3-2. Yards per game 231. 7 to 3 TDs to INTs.
Pressured 7 times plus, he’s 5-0. 341 yards per game and 14 to 2 TD to INT ratio.
His receivers had amongst the league’s best “open” ratios of all games in week 13.
I don’t feel that his timing was disrupted. I see it as mental; him being a little too hyped and believing the headlines about the pressure he would receive, which did not materialize. If Tua’s accuracy was even at his normal pace, this game would have been won by Dolphins. Chris Simms does a couple of decent videos on Tua in this game. Simms was completely accurate here, and on this occasion, I feel he made his points with resounding effectiveness.

Iโm a chargers fan but the ch argers are super banged up right now, no Derwin James is gonna hurt the defence a lot, our offensive line is Swiss cheese due to injuries to linsley, pipkins and slater. Plus Iโve seen lots of Tyreek Hill scoring on the chargers from his KC days so him + Waddle is really scary. Chargers lose 34-20๐
