Bengals are good indeed, but be aware that they still have Burrow, Chase and Higgins under rookie contracts. When it comes to paying those guys serious money, then the dynamic could change. Remains to be seen.

Burrow is #1 in all clean pocket statistics and it’s not even close. Crazy how good he is at processing defenses. This is why he was so dominant at LSU. It’s almost not fair.

@Klondor it’s not the number of penalties that matters….it’s when the penalties were called….. and how much effect they had on a particular drive, i.e. , they can extend a drive or stop it cold.
Burrow has such an amazing touch on the ball. It’s a joy to watch him pass.

Those years of losing over and over again, of having a record with barely 3 or a few more wins, are finally over. You can make fun of us all you want, but Bengals fans are overjoyed to finally have a good team. We have a chance! It’s dedication to still be a fan even when your team is in the dumps. Did anyone notice the blocking on bengals offense? There was times when Burrow was just relaxing. The line is waaay better than last year. And burrows going to light it up.

@Kevin Evans your first sentence is true….my point is that, that is precisely why they get to choose when to call a hold without arousing suspicion in most people.

What a shootout. Scares the pudding out of me to see Burrows scamper downfield like a tight end. Then to see Mahones go airborn and upended. These dudes are hungry competitors. What a blessing for these teams to have such fine players on defense and offense. Great game guys…both sides.

As a young kid he wanted to be a linebacker in school, he has that kind of mentality. He has mentioned in interviews about getting fired up when he gets hit.

@Sebastian Delgado In all honesty, the quarterback takes the load of responsibility, like any leader should. A true leader takes credit when their team loses, and gives his team the credit when they win. Some leaders just want the winning side and to put the blame on all others except themselves when they lose.
Both of these QBs exhibit a true leader. And when you see they might get hurt when hit, it almost makes you, the fan, a little weaker. But you see tight ends, receivers, and running backs take hits all the time. So you get the mentality that they can take it. Idk, just my two cents.

As a 4 decade long (lifelong) hardcore Chiefs fan, I gotta say that if we had to lose one more game this season I feel this is the one. Bengals/Burrow are a legit rival of the Kingdom now. Respect.
