Sad to see a game end in a tie. NFL needs to let them play until they have a winner

    New rule should be if at the end of over time if it’s still tied you have a field goal kick off shoot out. Ball is placed at 40 yard line and each kicker gets to kick a 60 yard field goal until some one misses and someone makes it, who ever makes the first field goal win, if both kickers make the field goal then they keep kicking 60 yards field goals till someone misses and the kicker who’s made 1 more field goal team wins. Now that would be exciting to watch; a field goal shoot out. That would also make field goal kickers more respected and pursued by teams, to have the best kickers in the league possible just for a situation if they have to have a tie breaking field goal overtime shootout.

    Thank you! Exactly! Get sick of these clickbait ‘Crazy Ending!!!’ or ‘Insane Ending!!!’ just because a team executes a 2 minute drill in the last two minutes or the game goes to overtime. Bills v Chiefs when Mahomes drives down to field goal range with mere seconds left- OK, that’s a crazy ending. But this? Two teams that couldn’t finish each other off either in regulation or OT. They were also calling the Ravens Broncos game with a crazy ending. It wasn’t though.

Good game by both teams, especially the defenses. That last Washington possession in OT, on 3rd down, I think we should’ve passed the ball. We play to win. Shows very little to no trust in your offense/QB/O line.

If either of these teams had a QB then they’d both be contenders straight up. I know how important edge rush is in todays game, but I never understand why teams picking at the top of the draft who need a QB would ever choose edge over a QB. Chase is a beast for us no doubt, but I’d take an up and coming QB over him any day. If we had taken any available QB in Herbert, Tua, or Hurts and maybe even Love, we’d be better off than we are w/ Chase
