It’s crazy to me that people thought DW was just going to be back to MVP form in a quarter or a half or even a game. THIS DUDE HASN’T PLAYED FOOTBALL IN TWO FULL YEARS!!! He’s going to be rusty, and I always expected that it would take him GAMES to get back into form…not a few plays or quarters. There is a real possibility that Watson doesn’t get back into form fast enough for us to go on a long win streak and have a shot at the playoffs this year…and if so, that’s fine.
It’s not Watson’s fault that this pathetic, worthless Joe Woods sham defense and Mike Priefer’s garbage special teams unit cost this team two or three wins earlier this season against bad teams. It’s not fair to expect a dude who hasn’t played QB in TWO YEARS to step in and carry this team on his shoulders to a six game win streak right away. It’s ridiculous. If Woods and Priefer weren’t the worst DC and STC in the entire NFL, this Browns defense and special teams would’ve played like they did in this game today ALL SEASON LONG, and we’d be 7-5 or 8-4 right now instead of 5-7 and we wouldn’t be putting the entire team on Watson’s rusty shoulders. Watson will get back into form eventually, and if it doesn’t happen this season at all, then so be it.

You usually don’t see a team dominate a game with 0 TDs on offense. Texans better not miss on these first rounders. It’s going to take a while for them to be decent.
They have a lot of injuries. But they are getting better. A few people back from injuries.
they need new coaches, and 40 million dead cap space is enough to hire two pro bowl starters. So they should get more out of free agency in the offseason

I will give the Texans receivers a lot of credit. They don’t shy away from contact. Watson looks like he has a lot of rust to shake off. He made a few good throws. The QB run was great.

Yea, he hasn’t played in over 700+ days. Looked decent and was in shape. The division will be cut throat next year
Watson was definitely rusty but he did make some nice reads and scrambles. Just need to work on not throwing the ball into the ground.

On the joke side, the Texans are eliminated from playoff contention _again._ I’m starting to have suspicions that their new coach is worse than the last…

The saddest thing about this is the Browns didn’t even try. This was a pre season offense just to get the rust off of Watson. Not sure they expected the defense to score at will like that but they clearly had backups playing on offense most of the game and had their #3’s in during the fourth quarter. Nice to see that Jacoby will still be part of the offense going forward though.
Fantasy football tip: every week look at who the Texans are playing and start the opposing teams defense.
The way Kyle Allen and the Texans was turning the ball over is straight comedy at this point. I’ve seen every damn thing now smh.😑
I was at the game, and when Allen threw that Pick 6 people were running for the exits. I know Mills isn’t the long term answer, but that QB cost the Texans 14 points by himself.
