Mike white doesn’t take enough credit from the so called experts… everyone says he is a temporary fix he is not the future etc…if Zach willson…or any young QB was playing the way white does all the experts will say wow that’s the next Brady or mahomes… Jets finally got Lucky and they have the cohones to bench a high draft pick let’s enjoy this.. If Mike White were drafted in the 1st or 2nd round then there would be no discussion at all. I get the business side of things and financial investments but when one guy can’t play the position at a professional level and the other guy can, you gotta go start the guy who can play. Ans if you wanna talk business then sticking to Zach might mean costing yourself Garrett Wilson and Elijah Moore long term because they need to be fed the ball in order to stay happy and Zach is either throwing to the birds or burning worms. Great job Mike White and the whole team.

On Mike White’s 28 passes, he was sacked once and had 3 QB hits, so roughly 6 out of 7 pass attempts were without much pressure, and I don’t think a Bears pass rusher ever came in untouched.
We need to see how he reacts to having 50 percent of his pass attempts being pressured and having someone come in untouched about 5 times per game. He’s got way more foot speed than Flacco, but he needs to be able to deal with the pressure from a real defense.
Zach is definitely out of sync, but he never got as much OL protection as Mike White did yesterday.
The reason for that is because he made quick decisions and got rid of the ball fast. Something Zach doesn’t do at all.
@PopeTX28 Bingo. Yeah footwork is important but White reads the defense pretty damn fast. He also drops back quicker and gets rid of the ball quicker. All of things could offset the oline not being great or increased defensive pressure.
If a wideout isnt there he’s going to dump it off. Zach sees that something isnt there and takes off and eventually throws it out of bounds or forces the pass to his first option.
The different body language was the ball hitting receivers iso the turf or db or airmail
