This Chiefs’ defense has been playing absolutely well all season, and as long they have Patrick Mahomes healthy and playing hot, the chiefs are still the juggernaut of the AFC. Isiah Pacheco should take the place of Clyde Edwards-Helaire as a starting running back
Pacheco is good for us, he hasn’t proved himself just yet. Hes shifty and quick if he can hold onto the football and have good bc vision we will be fine starting him over Clyde

@Taz I do. I remember the bad old days clearly. I remember Bill Kenny at QB. I remember barely Joe Delaney and how sad it was to hear of his passing. I remember how good our defense was for a decade, and how it didn’t mean much when our offense couldn’t score. Denver fans are seeing it first hand now and for the past few seasons. And I remember when vermeil took over and we suddenly had an offense to be proud of, but the defense was complete trash. I remember well all the good things and bad since I was old enough to understand the game. But you’re definitely right. This defense isn’t dominant. But, it might just be adequate to get the job done and get the team another Lombardi trophy.

@Tony Gonzalez you had me confused at first cuz I was thinking “uh, the Chiefs DID win?”, but what you’re really trying to say is they should’ve blew out the Rams (right?), which they easily could’ve, but it just didn’t happen that way. Tbf, they won’t be able to blow opponents out every game, even bad teams, but as long as you get the W, that’s what matters.
I thought the Chiefs played like garbage really. Their red zone was terrible.

Loved seeing the defense step up for a chance when the offense was struggling. Mahomes won’t struggle in the red zone very often but it’s nice to know that when he does the defense can step up and make plays. Chiefs are becoming more rounded on offense and defense which will be useful come playoff time.

When doesn’t Andy Reid utilize all his weapons. Some weeks you naturally go to Kelce but ALL THE TIME is pat distributing to everyone. Makes him dangerous because he likes pump fakes and looking off the defense so they’re never too sure of when he’s going to Kelce or anyone plus he can really scramble with the best of them. I love Tom Brady but no QB has ever had the complete package like Patt Mahomes, besides maybe Aaron Rodgers, and Josh Allen, but Aaron Rodgers hasn’t really utilized his tight ends since Jimmy Graham and he doesn’t truly trust anyone outside his no. 1 receiver, not too much his coaches, either, which has shown to great statistics and awards but only 1 ring for someone with that much arm talent

Tom Brady definitely doesn’t have the same skill set, but he’s never played in the same kind of offense as Mahomes, partially because of the skill set difference. I’d argue that Brady, at his best, plays the best situational offense ever and Mahomes definitely is up there for best dynamic offense ever.

Actually played at the same high school as pacheco, he came in right after I graduated and it’s a damn shame didn’t get to play together. He played qb there but he definitely was supposed to be a runningback. Glad he’s in the position for him now and keeps getting better. Good for him man! Might buy myself a jersey.

As a Chiefs fan,
This certainly wasn’t our best game but we held on and managed to defeat LA with more than double their points and only allowing 1 TD. Our defense has shined throughout the season and I believe if we can keep our current defensive lineup healthy and get back some of our injured players on offense, all while keeping Mahomes healthy, we have the best shot at winning the AFC and maybe even the SB. While this game may have seemed great in the end there were definitely some miscues. LA’s defense held us to a field goal *4* times in the red zone and managed to pull off a fake punt on special teams. I’m not saying this was a bad game but there is much room for improvement, both on offense and defense. I love my Chiefs and love what they got going for them right now, *9-2.* Hope for the best in Cincinnati and hope these Chiefs crush those Bengals! #GOCHIEFS
