    I was on the goal line in the second level. The kickoff right before that went through the upright. It would have been good for a 75 yard field goal. Just as he lined up for that field goal, I looked over to the right at the American flag. It was smoking in from the southwest. There was a big wind up in the air, and the announcers didn’t notice it. The kick looks great off of his foot. Then it hit that wind up in the air, and it just died.

As an eagles fan it brings me such a smile seeing Doug go for two and getting it. His crazy going for it mindset is a major reason the eagles won a Superbowl in 2017

    @TheFreshTrumpet true. But 75% of the time coaches don’t have the balls to go thru with that and play for the tie. Only recently had that Trent started. But I agree with your philosophy, if your the worst team don’t tie the game go for the jugular.

The fact that this game was played at sea level saved the Jags. Thats about as far as any human can kick a ball in Florida, he even took one extra step.
