@Crispy JM you are right on about that. I don’t understand why these fans brag Kirk up so much. Yes he makes some great throws and has played some very good games but he rarely does well against a really good defense. The defense would have to be great for the Vikes to go to a SB with Kirk as a QB.

@NWA744 you never know! This Viking defense gives up a ton of yardage. They could easily give up a lot of points to any team and they have injuries as well so that doesn’t help.

It would be nice to see this offense put up 30 points against a good defense. Most Viking fans say that this offense has so much talent but they haven’t blown anyone out.
@David V maybe the Pats defense got rolled by the Bears because Fields is a very fast QB and can run out of trouble. The Pats don’t have to game plan for that at all with the Vikings. The Vikes would be so much better with a QB that could run and get out of trouble when he had to.
@Camarokidd2022 That’s the trend. But who has that worked out for? There only two elite QBs out there who fit that description that I can think of. Mahomes and Allen. And they have one title between the two of them. And you could argue that they shouldn’t even have that one. If Jimmy G doesn’t wet himself at the end of that SuperBowl the Niners, not Mahomes, win that SuperBowl. Escapability is nice to have in theory. But those haven’t really been the guys who win. I would rather have a great pocket passer and a very good RB.

Then technically the Vikings just missed a blowout win in the week one win over the Packers. It seems Im outdated, a blowout win now in the NFL is just 17 points. The Vikings have pulled out of some deficits like that. 40-3 to me is a blowout but 35-21 or something like that to me is more of a lopsided score but not necessarily a blowout. IMO

If the Vikings score more than 10 points in the first half, I have serious doubts that my boys in blue can take it. Mac Jones is playing pretty conservative football, and the offensive masterminds currently have a conservative playbook open, which doesn’t combine for an explosive performance… 3-0 Pats is my dream score

With Darrisaw out, the Vikings O’Line will have their hands full with Matt Judon and a 2nd ranked defense in pts, 4th in pass yds and rush TDs. Viks need to stay with the rush this week and keep ahead of the sticks with short 3rd down attempts, quick passing. We were fairly successful last week on the second drive playing this way against Dallas, then we just abandoned the game plan. KOC needs to adjust better when something isn’t working. I hope Cousins has worked all week in the shotgun, he won’t have time to drop back. It won’t be sexy, but we need to move the ball on a good defense if we want to consider ourselves true SB contenders. Converting short 3rd downs and opening up a few chunk plays will keep the ToP on the Viks side. SKOL!
I do not think this week’s game for the New England Patriots will be similar to last week’s game for them. 21-17 and an intense game, all 4 quarters should be how this New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings game turns out. With the Minnesota Vikings’ Running game and the New England Patriots’ Linebackers, it’ll come down to who finishes open field match-ups (Open field tackles or gain of yards carries), maybe. 👍🇺🇸
