Second half was rough. Not coming away with points and Matt taking 4 sacks really hurt us. Gotta get 7 on at least one of those trips
When they got the ball back up by 3 I felt it was just a matter of taking it down field, killing the clock and getting a TD or a FG and winning it. When the big play happened then all of a sudden you could get a TD, be up by 10 and maybe win 20-17. That sack with the face mask non call on Ryan changed the game. I had just switched over from the Bills game where they suffered back to back face masks and the ref didn’t call those either. Didn’t affect game as Bills still won but in Colts case was difference.
@RavenRuled the sack was bad but we can’t blame the no call, it happens. They missed calls against us too. We had to punch that in and not go backwards like we did. Same a couple drives before that when we ended up like 3rd and 30. We had plenty of chances and we choked it away

@Jesse LeBlanc agreed, the team as a whole player better. Just have to clean some stuff up that’s left over from franks regime
Pre snap penalties is the worst things especially at home on offense…..that’s something that can’t happen
I still think Saturday is a solid addition to the team, but you can’t fix Ryan’s arm or an O-line in one or two weeks.
What throw did Ryan miss

Ryan played well. The online issues are on Ballard. Unless Reich was pounding the table for Pryor at LT. Saturday had made zero difference in terms of wins and losses.
@Dan Ryan didn’t play well. He was at best just passable. The o line is playing good enough our offense should be better. Ryan is the main thing holding us back now.
@Brian That’s just not true… Matt was hitting most of his passes. The reason he isn’t showing his arm is because he doesn’t have the time to make the deep plays at the moment. Ryan is the best chance at winning games… tried the duo threat and that didn’t work so…
Me being upset about them not beating the undisputed best team in football is still a really good sign for this squad. Wouldn’t have had a chance 2-4 weeks ago.
This team is much better than they were at the beginning of the season. Coming from an Eagles fan you played it really well. That defense showed up today.
@FiringallCylinders our defense is a Super Bowl caliber squad. O line and qb is holding us back big time.
I think this team with a 1st round pick at Left tackle and a vet at RG would really change things. Matt Ryan hasn’t been bad when there’s actually time

They beat the Chiefs week 3. This team has been good all year, just no killer instinct

Tough loss today but I’m sure coach Saturday will rally the troops and have the guys ready to play and win next game. Just got a few loose ends to tie up.

The offense has always been a weak area for the Colts. That’s what I meant when I said… HOLD THE LINE. Respectfully sir, strengthen the offense.👍🏾💯

Yes! It’s obviously early but bringing colts from a joke of a team to legit competition against best tan in nfl shows he’s got what it takes…

Played good enough to win but just got caught late. How many Qbs walking in late like that? Doesn’t happen often. Colts can still win a few more.
Saturday did a great job. This team is night and day better with him but there’s still some issues he can’t fix overnight. It will be on Ballard to fill those holes. Saturday is proving he’s the man for the job though.
This was a tough loss, but we will be fine. Just barely lost to the best team in football. Truthfully, if we can just get the holding penalties cleaned up, we will start winning again. Seemed like every good drive we had was neutralized by a holding call. Although JT’s fumble didn’t help either.
One thing I know for certain is we have a superbowl caliber defense. We just need the offense to play better. For the most part it has over the last 2 weeks. It just didn’t in the 2nd half today.
Our remaining opponents aren’t as good as Philly. 10-6-1 is still very possible and should be enough to get a WC. This season is not over by a longshot. Just a tough loss. We will respond next week.

I love that he’s calling out the mistakes and not playing the “I have to put these guys in position to succeed” no. These players NEED to be held accountable. Not good enough is not good enough, no need to go watch the film and say hey we fought hard so I’m proud of them.
I don’t care or give a damn what the haters think, feel or say about Jeff Saturday. He’s a leader of men, he’s a good man and the effort the team has put out the last 2 weeks is night and day compared to all their other games this season. It’s a learning curve for him, the staff and the players. It’s obvious to me they have all bought in. There will clearly be bumps in the road for Jeff and the team but Jeff is smart and the team is moving in the right direction. Their not quitters or tanking when they very easily could like a few other teams already have.
And a PSA – I’m a Steelers fan
So it doesn’t matter to me one way or the other. But real Steelers fans give credit and respect when it’s due and the Colts have earned it.
I was mad at first then I realized that the Colts held one of the best teams in the NFL to 17 points. With everything going on that’s still a good game. Too many mistakes but it is what it is
