Chiefs vs. Chargers CRAZY ENDING

It’s the most predictable ending ever if you’re a Chiefs fan too. We’re getting spoiled with this Mahomes guy.

As a chargers fan, there were plenty of missed pass interference calls that they didn’t call on our secondary that definitely effected the game badly for the Chiefs. Even with that, it wasn’t enough. Hell of a final possession by KC, that holding call wasn’t gonna make or break KC getting another first down imo

The lack of discipline bothers me

Yes and remember ” the chargers always find a way to loose” , the defensive calls on the last drive was preventive , chargers always bring poor coaching staff , and project spanos never like expensive or winning coaches , staley brings nintendo style playing

Refs were letting them play all night without calling any sort of pass interference or defensive holding u til the chiefs fail to convert a 3rd down with about a min left. If the chargers would have held up and won, the would have beat the spread, paying out millions to underdog bettors, but since the chiefs won by exactly the amount they needed to win by so have the house win, that’s not suspicious to anyone?

@JHaz Yeah but that is due to the nature of the position they play. If that’s gonna be the argument a quarterback should always be the MVP cause an extraordinary quarterback is always gonna be more impactful than an extraordinary player in every other position.

Defense did its job for the most part. Minus the 3rd and 18 play.

@BludAardvark which they have a hard time doing. How many times have mahomes got the chiefs in the lead with only a few mins left and our weak defense can’t hold them for a few mins. That’s why we the chiefs have to score the ball in 13 secs to win games. Or 12 seconds to go into the half leading. And that’s with Chris Jones. Im not saying he’s not good. Bc Jones is probably one of the best if not the best defense player we have. But that it’s self is saying something. All I’m saying is OBJ and Sue were free agents. There was a big rumor the chiefs could get him (haven’t heard much about this recently so I’m not updated) but not a single word on Dominic Sue. Why do we need ANOTHER offensive weapon? When we have someone just has dangerous but in the defense side of the ball. Sue and Jones? C’mon? I like that pair way more than mahomes and obj. Our offense is set I feel. Just give us time to build chemistry..

How about Brody Croyle and Tyler Thigpen at QB? Brody Croyle 07 was the first QB we drafted since Todd Blackledge in 84. As a 40 year fan of the Chiefs this last 5 years has been amazing!!!

@J Alvarez , hey I love watching Joe Montana in Kansas City. He did make it fun in 1993 and even 1994. He beat Elway head to head in 1994 in a place that the Chiefs hardly ever won in. Chiefs fans did love Joe Montana so relax.

I thought that defensive holding call against the Chargers at 8:08 was pretty weak. But that’s just one play….Chiefs obviously made some great plays other than that one.

Which make the win more heart wrenching.

Same here! I started watching the Chiefs when Montana came. I really paid attention when we got Elvis Grabac. I was 15 in 1995 when the heart breaks begun. Was even at all of the Chiefs Hour hosted by Hot 103 in westport back in the 90s. Lived through a lot of Shitty QBs. I always wished the Chiefs had their own Elway. We finally got our QB. #ChiefsKingdom baby!!!!
