Last week, the Cowboys didn’t continue to run the ball to control the clock and it backfired on them against the packers. Today, they were able to run the football and controlled the game throughout. The Vikings seemed like they were nowhere to be found in this game. This was a pounding

@Marcus Garvey HOU Skepticism is always healthy, but you guys have a crazily gifted team. I’m an Eagles fan, and I expected Dallas to win the East comfortably this year. (I was skeptical of my own team and QB’s potential.)
Dallas is inconsistent and Philly is slumping, but they are head and shoulders above the rest of the NFC in my opinion. That’s not to say they can’t lose. They will have bad games. I expect one of those two, or a healthier 49ers, will win the NFC.

@Element Zero I believe 49ers will be the main obstacle in any other NFC team way in the playoffs this year. Whoever represents the NFC this year will have to get through them to go to the Bowl. This is just my opinion considering all teams are healthy when the playoffs begin. Their defense is top 10 but the acquisition of McCaffrey makes their offense more dynamic. Deebo, McCaffrey and Kittle is scary but Jimmy G has his moments. Lol
@Marcus Garvey HOU They’re a talented team that has a track record of playoff success, so they’re certainly a logical favorite. When healthy, they have a ferocious defense and an offense that does enough. McCaffrey is so good it makes them scary. Both Philly and Dallas have looked weak against the run at times.
One could say the same about Tampa, but I don’t think their issues are the type that get fixed with time. I don’t follow them in detail, so I could be wrong.
Philly and Dallas will have to prove themselves in the postseason. Dallas has a history of disappointing in recent years, and these Eagles are a different group than the team 5 seasons ago. I never imagined they’d start 9-1, and won’t take any game for granted.
@Element Zero I agree. I believe Tennessee will be the ultimate test for Dallas and Philly. That’s why I said I need to see what Dallas does Thursday and then against Tennessee. King Henry will be the best test of the season for the defense.
Pollard is electric, im glad they are finding a way to use him more especially in the passing game. He is a huge threat when catching the ball in the flats, especially in space.

The DNA of football is physicality, I’ve been watching football a long time and it seems like every 5 years, some fancy offense come along and it’s call being creative. Until there is enough film where coordinators can find flaws. I’ve seen the run and shoot, Fun and gun, the spread offense and other offenses, they all had their time. Everyone told the Rams’ offense will change my life forever. When the 49ers’ O and D lines are not healthy, the offense schemes is not as effective. They are physical team by nature, that is why one year they could be so good and the next they can have a losing season.

Zeke is a bruiser and does the dirty work. He will still give you a lot of carries and get over a 1000 yards. He’s overpaid? No Zeke earned his money

I was pissed when they released him a few years back. He was always good and I didn’t understand why they released him but he’s so much better now. Top 3 kickers for sure.
Honestly gotta give credit to the coaching staff this game. After last week’s disappointment, this game was a must win with the Giants and Colts coming up in the next 2 weeks. Good to see that they corrected the mistakes they made on the road and prevented a potential losing streak

Did anyone explain why the officials waited until after the Cowboys timeout and after Maher’s 60 field to review CD’s catch? Instead of reviewing CD’s sideline catch when it happened, they waited until after a Cowboys timeout and after Maher’s field goal, then took the points off the board to review CD’s catch.

@mynamerell No, it was back to back 60’s. He made a 60 yard kick (the first one isn’t shown in the highlights here) but the refs called a timeout just as the ball was being snapped (to review the Lamb catch along the sideline) so that kick didn’t count, so then he lined up and nailed it again and he even made a better kick on the 2nd attempt, the first one barely made it over the crossbar but the second kick probably would have been good from 70 yards.
Best defense in the league and Tony Pollard was going crazy

After last week’s game, Minnesota had THE ultimate let down game 💯
For those of you who didn’t watch the game, Maher made that 60 yard field goal two times in a row. After the first make it was negated due to a challenge on the previous sideline catch by Ceedee Lamb. He then went on to make it with even better precision the second time. Beast.

Dallas pass rush was insane this game. The offense put up points, with everyone sharing the football, Dak passing the right amount, Pollard and Zeke sharing the snaps and having 2 TD each, and so on, but the defense! My goodness you don’t see very often an offensive line imploding like that. Great job by Dallas front 4, led by Parsons, what a beast.
YEAH, I THINK WE ARE SEEING SOMETHING SPEACIAL HERE WITH DALLAS!
