That’s because the Broncos and Raiders have the 2 best coaches in NFL history.

These are so different from the ESPN predictions that actually ran simulations and calculated the percentages with legitimate statistics. You can see all the bizarre differences in her predictions:
Dolphins above Bills when they’re first in the division? Patriots currently a 7th seed and they only have a 30% chance to make it? Giants are 7-2 and are that low, again below the Cowboys with a worse record in the same division? Niners are top 10 in all power rankings and they’ve got like a 35% chance to make it? And the Bucs are THAT guaranteed to win the division that you put them at 70% when there’s no way they make it unless they do so given the records from the rest of the NFC?
Crazy how easily people will take these to mean anything just because it’s “from an ESPN analyst.” Just remember: Any given Sunday.

@nyles adkins the Rams game is very winnable, also tonight is winnable. Automatic win against the Bears. Dolphins and Vikings can be beaten, but will be tough. The Packers won’t be swept by the Lions. The Eagles game will be really hard

It’s possible, the entire NFC East makes the playoffs. By week 17, the playoff picture in the East is going to be very different than what it is today. Should be interesting.
Same for AFC East. If season ended now they’d all be in but that’ll probably change by the end of the year

This football season for all New York teams is unbelievable so far
7-2 Giants at 60%, and 6-3 Jets at 49%, despite both being in 2nd and the Jets potentially getting in first with a win over the Patriots. It’s disrespecting what both of these teams were able to do so far. What happens when they go 8-2 and 7-3?
