Glad Jeff Saturday is using info from good coaches he’s played for, while knowing his own limitations, and relying on others for those.
Every good leader does this.
He should be an excellent offensive coach. He was Mannings mentor and confidant for that offense his entire career as a center. He deserves a chance to do the job. I am surprised at how vicious the attacks have been over this move.

Yes at the very least we should keep him as the O-Line coach. I mean good lord you could just tell bringing in a 14-year pro with multiple pro bowls and a super bowl made a huge difference in the play up front. I really hope he sticks around on the staff full-time

Jonathan Taylor will become a star again. Amazing Oline with Nelson, Kelly, etc. I’m a dolphins fan but I’m excited for these colts. 3 great WR’s Campbell, pierce, Pittman. It’s not a mistake that Taylor ran the ball more times then he has any game this season. They’ll give phi a run next week. Team is playing for each other now. Saturday seems to bring the colts good aura.
Jeff might be new to coaching but this man gives answers like he is veteran coach, he might not have a winning record after this season is over but I feel like he definitely has the potential to be a successful coach in the NFL cuz if you’re rookie in anything in life you’re always learning & receiving lessons from it
Seriously…this guy understands how to win and what is important. If he can continue to explain his needs to the team and coaching staff as he does here…all will be well. Look…any team can beat any team on a given night. The Eagles are popping…but if they fub up these guys can win. It is tremendously hard to go this far and be unbeaten…they are due
Jeff was hired to be a leader and a motivator, and he is proving to do just that. He wasn’t hired because he had 30 years of posting winning records as a head coach. Yes, it’s only one game against a bad football team, but I believe in this man. He has a strong staff operating beneath him, and the pieces are in place. We just need him to be encouraging, provide spirit and lead. The technicalities he will learn.

He’s humbling himself by relying on the assistant coaches but also using his past experience as a player. I think in a normal situation a person in his position would feign ignorance and only rely on their own choices/experiences alone. I love this about Jeff Saturday it’s what makes him genuine, and even though it is questionable in experience stand point. For the person he is and the way he’s been handling the situation at this moment I’m happy for him.
