This team has too much talent to be 3 & 7. He needs to look in the mirror, stop being stubborn and make adjustments. It starts with him. We had less talent last year and still had a winning record.

Allen is a defensive coordinator, not a head coach. He needs to return to what he’s good at.

If this guy said Jameis was still in recovery he would probably get a pass this season. But when you tell us he is healthy, and u keep playing a backup aging, non 3rd down converting, intercepting throwing, no red Zone throwing QB in Andy Dalton, it is preposterous. Not a Taysom Hill fan but if Winston is still not healthy you play Hill. Dalton sucks! I remember last year this defense was ball hawking, takeaway and hard hitting. Now they are playing soft.

The Saints problem is the Coach.Dennis Allen is only good at Defense that’s it he is not overall Coach the saints does has weapons on offense he just doesn’t know how to use them. listen Sean Payton first year with the Saints in 2006-2007 the saints won 10 games Sean Peyton first year as head coach for the Saints vs Dennis Allen only barely 3 wins come on man the proof is in the pudding

Has anyone caught on yet? His whole coaching style is, these guys are men/pros. They know there job. And have to do it. He and his coordinators come up with a game plan, throw it on the table and say, here, execute this. If you can’t it’s not my fault. He does not make in game adjustments. He has no contact with his players or assistant coaches during the game. The man just stands there like a robot. He is a horrible HC who is clueless and does not inspire. Those guys don’t want to win for him.

Taysom is 100% and can run the ball too. If we can design plays for him in the offense similar to Baltimore we could have huge success in the last part of this season. The issues is in the past I feel like Sean was trying to get him to be a pocket passer which he’s not.

CJ Gardner Johnson just made his sixth interception this season on Monday night football. He’s got more interceptions than the Saints.

I don’t foresee Allen taking a demotion and remaining with the Saints. This team will have to go in an entirely new direction in 2024. I doubt he will be fired after this first season by Gayle Benson.

Of note, no Saints coach has ever been fired after only one season. And there have been a lot of losing first seasons.
